Hi all and ty MG. I am typing from my phone. Horribly lol. Update. Mom is doing much better. Her fall was related to her heart but they have found the issue so she will be home today. Irene is still an issue here. Most power is back up but our cable companies are bogged down fixing lines. I hope to be back by tomorrow. Thanks to all of those that fb messaged me. It means a lot to know who cares when you are in a bind xo. Ty mg for your daily calls. You are a true friend xo

Thanks. I'm currently leaching net from my neighbor (by permission LOL) until ours gets fixed. Almost a week today with no net or TV. Finally got power so that's a blessing.

Life is settling back to normal now. yay! I have full net and TV! My mom is home from the hospital and we have a 3 day weekend before school starts.

Just wanted to update everyone. Laura called today and wanted me to post that she and her family are fine. They did loose some trees and Hurricane Irene did cause power to go out for them. They have been without electricity since 4 am and it may take another two weeks before it will be restore again. She will be MIA for awhile, but wanted to thank everyone for keeping her in your thoughts.

Thanks MG for informing us about Laura. Glad to know that she and her family are fine. I was wondering why Laura was so quiet. I just realised that she lives in the area where the Hurricane passed through.

Yeah! I agree with you in today's time without electricity life becomes next to hell. Anyway it is nice hearing things are under control a bit. I hope the power will be back soon when the situation will start coming under some control for the authorities. My best wishes for Laura!
