mmmm have had a few experiences with "things", and can only call them things because I am relatively new to the spiritual circle.......but the most recent has had me a bit on edge.........
was having a disagreement with someone close, about me joining a development class, and the conversation started to get quite heated....... I
have an unfortunate dislike to being told how to run my life...... when I saw what can only be described as a black smudge crawl at huge speed across the ceiling in an adjoining room.
It went into a light shade in the middle of the room, and the light fell, smashing on the floor. After the initial shock, we saw that the wires had been frayed, and the screws holding the light fitting in place had been sheared.
As we were both facing the adjoining room, why was it only I who saw this "smudge" ??
And surely this can't just be a manifestation of the negative energy that was happening at the time, could it?
Sort of lost for an explanation.........and the closeness to the other person has slowly worsened...for us both.....whenever we are together, there seems to be a coldness.......not so much in temperature, but just ????
And why does this person have such a dark aura around them?
I feel deeply that it isn't something weird like a possession or a demon..... am not doubting their existence though....... its just all come about since I took an interest in the whole spiritual development classes.......

So........why ??

sounds like an unsettling experience you had there.

I would say that only you saw 'it' because you are more openminded in this area, and your friend clearly isnt. As to what 'it' was, I cant say sorry

You will find though as your interests increase, those friends that were once close may leave to make way for new friends that do share your interests.

Maybe just leave the disscusions about spiritual development for a different friend, and share other interests with this friend?

I also welcome you to SD, papa bear! People come and go throughout life. I think as you grow spiritually you will attract like-minded people and those people who don't see eye to eye with you will drift away. It sounds like this person with the "dark aura" would be best to part ways with. Bad vibes!

Yep I'm another one that can't really share my interest in this sort of stuff with ppl and thats why I come here lol. lots of like minded ppl to share our experiences with.

I'd probably start with cleansing the house. there's a post in the sharing circle i believe in cleansing your home (with smudge sticks and then using lavender or cedar incense afterwards. )

Now , I can't be sure and say it's an entity, it may well be someone you know just trying to get your attention, saying "I'm here lol" but just to be safe i'd suggest the cleansing, becasue when you start out in this sort of stuff you attract all types of energy. make sure you also protect yourself in a bubble of white light.

Here's an idea...

The 'smudge' was not a bad thing. Perhaps it was a guiding spirit... First, it knew the argument was bad would be unproductive and was just trying to get the argument to stop. Dropping a light in the middle would certainly stop it. Second, at the same time as stopping the argument, its revealing itself to you also was an indicator to you that you should pursue development classes. A "OK, now you've seen something, now do something", a good helpful hint.

Thanks for the replies, is always helpful to share with people who are not of the judgemental mind, and have hearts and minds that are open, helpful, and loving.
And of course, it always helps when others can add confirmation to the reason why a few rocks are placed in my path
Fortunately, the house has no negativity, just the close friend, and I tend to agree with you TRINER....whatever/whoever it was, pretty much was trying to tell me to chill, and no longer embrace in this argument.
HARMONY....thank you for your words, as with Triners reply, yes, it was there to attract my attention, again to let me know , and to confirm, that I am being watched.
XPECTMIRACLES.......truer words very rarely spoken, but so difficult to drop a friend of such a long time, even though I see her dark aura, and we don't always see eye to eye
