I read a similar thing to what you mentioned about OBE. But I didn't feel that , that was what was happening to me because I really was not in deep meditation, I was in very lightly but my heart was really feeling for the person I wanted to make contact with. But my state of mind was not deep at all, I was in very shallow.

I don't know, maybe if I have it again, I will know a little more as to what was happening. I did feel that if it went on for longer I was going to be made aware of another place or another presence.

But if it is prep for OBE, that would be nice too, to learn some thing new.

Thank you again for your post. If I ever find out what it is, or if it happens again I will let you know, if that's ok. And I would love to know if it happens again to you too?

i would definitly love to know if the buzzing happens again or if you get past it..if there is infact anything past it. ill keep you posted as well, ive been waiting for it to happen again. OBE has been a very slow process for me. ive heard that in AP there is a loud POP right after the buzzing..i havent reached that point yet.

It must have been very exciting the first time although you say that if frightened you. That's some thing I haven't heard of before, the 'pop'. Will bear that in mind.

Hi every one

Can anyone tell me what the buzzing sensation around your whole body is?
I said my prayers, meditated and then opened my chakras. I stated what my intention was and then waited. But during this time kept speaking in my head to my guides and to the person I was trying to make contact with.
Then I felt something I have never felt before. I felt a buzzing from head to toe around my whole body. At one point I felt almost a vibration.I felt my body go hot, but I was not afraid, just waiting for more. But then I was interupted by one of my kids and had to stop.
Could this be the change of energy that I have been told about meaning another presence or is it some thing else?
Anyone have any ideas? Please?

Not sure about this one actually as in the past when something like that has happened to me it's like having an electrical impulse that is changing. Once I touched someone with one finger and it was on a spot we were examining in a class and i'd been away with the fairies drifting well the conversation going on around me at the time was very boring. Well next thing you know she just about jumped from the couch and I saw the spark myself I gave her a shock and she swore I was holding a faulty electrical item and wouldn't accept when we told her it was just me. I also used to have a watch I wore with a dead battery and I used to put it on and once warm set the time as no sooner did I take it off it would go dead. I think personally some people have an ability to adjust their own electrical vibrations and connect so maybe that is what you were doing.

I can only speak from my own experiences on this, but hope it may help you in some way

I've experienced buzzing energy from head to toe on a couple of occasions. Once when a loved one in spirit drew very close to me, and once in development class at my local spiritualist church when i was taken into a light trance. I only usually feel their energy from top to toe when they are very close to my aura, as in almost standing on top of me.

Other than that when they're not standing too close to me, i just feel them either down one side of my body usually the top part of my body OR i feel them around my head, sometimes tickling my hair, sometimes making my head tingle on top and at the sides above my ears.

I thank you for your reply too. Your experience was very similar to mine I think. And I was secretly hoping that my thoughts would match some onelese's experience.

I did read up on the internet and found some where that about the possibility of it being energy from the chakras. I did take this as a true possiblity but was not totally convinced.

You know when I said Buzzing, I guess I should have said vibrations. But it almost buzzed too. Is this the same as what everyone has experienced? Almost like a current or waves of vibrations going up and down but with a buzz too?then I felt as though there was a separate vibrational form linking to mine. (sorry sounds confusing)

Since I was only in light meditation and I was trying to connect with some one who had passed on, I felt that it was a connection of a spirit. Or that I was entering into another realm. If I had had a few more mins I would have know the answer. But it wasn't to be, and perhapes that way planned by my guides to give me a little at a time so that I don't get scared.And now they have left me for a while to recover from my passed 2 weeks of teaching.
So once again thank you.

i got that buzzing a month or so ago, it was the first and only time. i was meditating and got to that "half awake, half asleep" place.

i did some research on it and found in a sylvia brown lecture that this is what sapposedly happens right before you leave your body in astral projection. ive only APed once...and it wasnt this time with the buzzing. i never made it past the buzzing because it spooked me and i woke up. both my AP experiences (only lasted a couple seconds, i felt myself get up from my couch and walk over to a chest, open it and rummage through the bills) and this buzzing, have happened in the past several months, never before that. i think my spirit is preparing for AP, for some reason....maybe yours is too.

i thought i was going to conk out, my whole body felt like it was raceing ,but behind it all my hart was still going bod-dom bod-dom nice and slow??

It's nice to know that there are a few people experiencing the same sensations. But I would be interested to know if it has a different meaning to each person such as OBE,Chakras being activated, or Spirit near by.

you got me thinking about the vibrations and when i look at it i probably still dont understand the full gravity of it.
i have been getting this for quite a few years, each time it happened i didnt know what to do, i would let it run its corse witch could go as long as 10 minuts.
around 2002 i figured out that if i told it to stop it would slowly subside,
the last time that this happend was about 6 months ago .
the last few times it has goe on i have detected another hart beat going on behind it all, one much lower than my own
maby it means there is another spirit close by??
im not to keen on the experance as it really shakes me up, its a very intence vibrating that makes me think every cell in my body is going for it
?????
if its somthing to do with out of body stuff then what is the state of mind and feeling required to follow though with this ?
it somtimes feels like your a jet engine powering up for take off.
its not easy to think at times when its happening, it can feel quite paralizing,
theas are just my experiances,
i dont know what this could be?????

I had to reply to this thread as I've noticed a buzzing sound past my left ear (which is not my strongest hearing ear). I was at work in an office (with no open windows) and the sensation of a bee/wasp buzzing past. It's never happened since. I've noticed other sensations too around my ears and was even dripped on once from above. Are these all signs of spirit saying hello?

You would be correct Nikola. In a book I once read, it was said that the buzzing sound is Spirit trying to open up your "inner" ears for communications. Pay attention when you hear it and see if you can get any messages that day.

I've had that experience when half awake / half asleep. I talked about it in this thread. I've figured out that, for me, the buzzing/vibration is a trigger for either a vivid lucid dream or astral projection. I've never had it happen while meditating - only when half asleep.

Look up the "vibrational stage" in reference to Astral Projection - that's a lot like what it sounds like.

On a side note, I've also felt an intense tingling/vibration feeling when I've encountered what seemed like spirits in visions or dream states. I've also felt tingling sensations around my back or sides when I've felt a sense that I was communicating with spirits.

This is the first time I have seen this thread...I hate it for the lady who started it that she did not get the recent responses...maybe she will peek in again......

When I have high level beings ( archangels / masters etc.) come around me as in near I get the sound of buzzing.....like being in the middle of a bee hive.
it is the intensity of their energy being so strong...

when i start into a lucid dream/vision i get the sound of .... swoosh .....go through my ear into my head.

when i get telepathic voices i get like a ping through my crown then down into my forehead.

when i astral travel my body jerks with entry and exit but no sound.
if one of my guides touches me to confirm soemthing it feels like goose bumps from head to toe

most people will experience things differently.... what one feels may nto be what another feels ....spirit will find what works for each individual...... plus each persons body may react differently to the senses

archangels have never been in human form and were created int he beginning..they were the first.

masters have just that mastered certain areas. it is their experise so to speak. each one has a light prism color that they vibrate specifically too. each color associates with a certain chakra and the properties of those chakras. characteristics etc. masters have actually mastered all the chakra systems but specifically one in particular and they assist us in mastering them as well. they are more in the teaching realm of things and angels are more in the helping, saving, guarding end of things.

to me the dark matter is like a cloak of protection around the light or heavenly plane of existance . One must penetrate the darkness to get to the light. is different than the void. the void is a area above the head chakras that one must get throught o elevate to higher chakras. but the dark matter is the gateway to the realm of the high level or level say 11 beings.

another theory of the dark matter is that it is in the lower realms and one must master the ego and the lower energies to get through this dark matter which is lower energies to emerge into the light.

a high level being would indeed be white light that had to step through the dark matter that surrounds this plane of existance to let their light shine through

this is just my beliefs and others may feel totally different on this subject
