Default Distant Hearing
This is a slightly strange one, but I was hoping someone could shed some light on it. I don't think I've posted it before.
When I was younger, maybe about 7 and under. My parents owned a house that sat right behind my gradparents house, but now right right behind it, it was back quite a distance. If i ran I could make it therein about 1 minute
Well, my mum used to work the night shift at her work sometimes and my dad would stay up to wait for her. In summer holidays or at the weekend if they were both really tired they would get annoyed at my brother and I waking up at about 7 and making noise. When it got to a time that they knew my grandparents would beawake they would tell us to go down to their house.
Now, I know my parents didnt call them to ask them or tell them, in fact, like i said, if i ran i could get there quickly and if they did call i would have caught one of them on the phone... considering the conversations they would have to have.
When i got there, my nan would ask if i was being noisy. My brother and i would always say 'no, we were just playing'. She'd then tellus we were so noisy she could hear us (which she obviously couldnt)
She would then proceed to tell us what game we were playing, what we were watching on tv and different things we said. ALL completly accurate.
Now, i know she believed in 'signs' and omens and everything but i cant understand how she could do this, and so accurately.
Does anyone have any insight? Sorry this post is a novel.
Ever since I was little this has confused me. We've even tried to catch her out by not being noisey or saying anything. She still knew.

I don't really have any insight for you, but I do have a friend who lives above the coffee shop she owns. She says she can sense what is going on in other parts of the building. She and I think it's because she loves the building so much and has put so much hard work into fixing it up that she now has a connection with it somehow.

Maybe your grandmother was able to know/sense what you were doing because of the close connection you had with each other location-wise and relationship-wise. You know, that parent/child thing where your parents always knew when you were getting into trouble, lol. Or maybe your grandfather could have snuck around outside your house and then went and told your grandmother what you were doing without you having realized it.

Please pray for my black lab mix, Miller. He started acting funny this morning. He is not wanting to lie down, he will yelp if we push on his left lower grion area. I have given him an Aspirin, it seemed to help a little. I wish I could just ask him what is wrong, please pray for him, send positive energies, whatever.
Thanks, in advance.

Thank you for the advice, I am new to the forum scene and don't think I have ever created a thread, only responded, no sure I know how but will figure it out. Miller does visit a vet regularly, she is not open on Sunday. I have her cell phone number for emergencies but didn't want to bug her on her day off for this.
Awakening and OomaboO
Thank you for the kind words and thoughts for my canine friend, he is doing much better today.
