Default If a psychic has a website and offers services for a fee does that mean it's a scam?
I've been seeing a crystal therapists type of psychic who was doing past life readings, a lot of what she said made me feel good but a lot of stuff she said or did made me wonder, so I let another (casual) psychic look into it and they said they got a weird vibe from her website. Was I scammed?

Well, not everything is a scam..
There are lots of gifted psychics who charge for readings. Which is absolutely ok. Although there are and always will be scammers everywhere, it's only you who will be able to tell anything

Well, I felt good about this psychic until recently and just yesterday I had the worse feeling that I made her say something she didn't mean. I don't know and now I'm going back and forth between psychics and like I said one of them thinks I'm being scammed. But then again it be her/him that's pulling my leg since she/he didn't believe psychics should pay a fee and I hate that, because I am divulges my heart and soul here and it's so confusing. I feel drained somehow.

Well, I feel scammed by the person who told me she was fake. Some teenage girl who claimed to be gifted and I let her know about private things, and now I feel awful, you have no idea how I felt the other day.

Relax, it's ok to make mistakes. They are just learning points. No matter who scammed you and who didn't. The most important thing is what you think, not what others think. Plus, even if you did make a mistake..it's OK.

Tell you what, when I was young, I thought the emails Sara Freder sent me were so right and I was trying my best to collect money to buy one of the things she advertises...When the truth is she sends everyone the same email.

Don't worry about it....just relax and tell yourself it's perfectly fine to make mistakes even if you did.

There are lots of gifted psychics and sometimes they might not be right..it happens..but there's nothing to worry about..remeber, readings are not set in stone, the power is still in your hands to make things happen the way you want.

P.S. You can feel free to post the link to the website here for everyone to see so if anyone had experience with it, they can tell.

I personally can't comment on the site unless I have been scammed, I cannot speak from feelings in cases like this where someone's lifestyle is dependent on the money made from the website.

I can't find the readers' page on the website anyway...but, in anycase, go with what you feel...not what others say.

Love,
Mystic

Okay, it's www.triple-moon.co.uk and the reader is Sara Xerri. Yes I even got those Sara Freder, or Sara Feeder, but I got them for free somehow, and I have to say, I didn't really believe those.

I used to get Sara Freder emails too! I never believed it, though a bit of me wanted to. I've always thought claims of 'I'll use my amazing gifts to get you stacks of cash' are similar to 'join my pyramid scheme and you'll be rich beyond your wildest imaginings...' .

It goes back to the discussion Mysic and I had about walking your own path, and finding your own way.

Trust your own intuition on this one. Even if this girl (the original one) was a scammer, she still may have unwittingly given you some useful insights. The universe works in mysterious ways.

And Mystic was right about mistakes - we have all told someone things we wish we hadn't, I'm sure.

ACn you see any lessons in this? Ladyisis gave me some excellent advice about journalling questions you feel unsure about (sit down with the question and write whatever comes to mind without censoring yourself, then reread and see what insights are there).

My thoughts are with you honey, try not to beat yourself up too much.

Just looked at this lady's website. It's fairly professional, though I know that's no indicator.

I don't get bad feelings from it, and her readings are not extortionate. Perhaps I'll get a reading in the name of research...

Thanks I agree with you, the psychic gave me some insight I feel I may not have ever thought of.

Another thing I wanna say is. Most psychics also pick up info that you may not have thought about or may have dismissed as unimportant. Like, when doing readings, it may not be the immediate thing that you want to hear but something that's more important or will be important..It's like guidance from God...you get guidance on what you most need...not on what you think you most need.

It is easy to get scammed. If you do, I am certain you not alone. I have my own web-site which is listed under my profile. Some things that I personally do: even though I get a ton of "inquiring calls" I never talk anyone into reading. If they are skeptical or not ready, chances are they will not have a positive experience.

Also, I always ask if this is their first reading. Then I will tell them what to expect so that there are no miscommunications about what my limits are.

My pleasure is in when clients RETURN. That is really my goal. Then I know I did my best and they had a positive experience.

I have also turned down clients who had not so realistic expectations. Like I mentioned I would rather retain than just get a huge number of people.

Hope that helps

Blessings~

I just briefly checked it out. It looks to be informative. I can't say about the readings. I think it is like any of the others in that you are taking a chance. I wouldn't worry too much as to whether or not you made a mistake. Instead, I would try to derive as much information and guidance as I could from the reading. If you continue to have any negative feelings, make sure not to go back. Hope it helps.

Many Blessings~

Thank you. In fact I get a better vibe from her than the person who claimed she was a scam.

The site does look professionally made to me, it's most likely not someone (like one person) just trying to scam other people, but you never know right? Some sites however are really fake and that's something you notice right away.

Also try to stay away from sites with lots of advertisements, chances are high that they are really only in for the money. I once visited such a site & there was like one free computerized reading. I tested it and it did what it had to do, but after trying the free reading again a couple of times (after cleaning cookies) I found out they had a very clever (actually quite stupid) mechanism to scam people in need for advice/guidance so easily. I was stunned at how much of an a-hole the site owner really was.

With "getting a vibe", do you mean you don't/do trust her because of the website's professionalism or do you really get vibes somehow?

Well, I personally get a good vibe from her, I have had to pay for some of my readings but I have recieved free advice as well. It's just one day I had a feeling that I made her say something that may not be true just because I wanted to be true and I got worried. So I posted on a couple of sites, this one included and some psychic on one of them had automatically said she was a scam so over the weekend I shared a lot of the information and a lot of pivate information I regret telling the immature, 13-year-old psychic who claimed all the psychics I used were a scam and she was just real negative and put a strain on me I could feel it. And she said she went to the website and got a bad vibe from it, but I personally feel I got a bad vibe from her, the young psychic.

I feel good about Sara.

Well, she does have plenty of links to other new age related companies. I don't know if that's considered too much advertisement.

Hm, I don't know either.. but why don't you ask for a reading on here (if you didn't already)? I'm sure there's lots of people wanting to help you out even for free !
