Default Honestly, what's your opinion on the GLBT community?
Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered Community: I know we are in the midst of a big change but how many of us actually support their rights?

People are people. Treat all of them with the respect they deserve, regardless of their race, sex, or sexual orientation.

When you say Indian descent, do you mean "from India"? The reason I ask is because in America, usually when you say it, you mean American Indian/Native American but I notice you're from South Africa.

Well to say Indian and mean Native American isn't correct. The Native's were called "Indians" because Columbus thought he landed in India LOL

I support every human. Sexual preference shouldn't matter. If you are a good person, you respect others and you judge not. Doesn't not matter your race, creed, sexual preference or what not. We are all connected !

Cool, I heard Kenya also has a large Indian population.

Pagan, I know that but still even Native Americans use the term Indian to describe themselves.

Hmm, well that's odd... because my tribe doesn't lol.

Ojibwe, great grandmother was full blooded. I even took classes to learn to speak it. If someone called a tribesman and Indian... you better believe he corrected them :P

Not to start stuff, but most tribal people I've known just used the tribal name rather than NA/Indian. If it was for federal aide stuff, it was NA.

That's cool that you have nice gay friend but some of the ones I've known very personally were very critical people and often times could not make their minds up if they were part of the community or not. And sometimes tended to have a certain level of heterophobia.

Just because they are gay doesn't make them any different. There are MANY people that have issues with others. Prejudice knows no boundaries.. Sadly.

Always remember what Carl Jung says

"Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves."

Which really means.. what you dislike in others, is present in you.

My 2nd ex was super homophobic, anti gay and really nasty when it came to talking about men who liked men. Wanna know something really funny? He is in prison for 20 years. I always suspected he had "gay tendencies" but now I guess he has no choice Bubba is his buddy! :P

Gay people are not immune from being annoying just like the rest of people. Of course different situations can be awkward or even scary. I knew a man who was transitioning (FTM), and it's an amazing, powerful process to see someone go through a second puberty, and it's not always a beautiful situation. All you can do until you've walked in someone's shoes is just be present and love them. What people do is none of my business if it doesn't hurt me or others.
