I used to hear things call my name all the time, or at least say 'hey' or something that catches my attention.

Recently I was in my living room doing research on my laptop and heard a male voice whisper 'hey' to me. I looked around for a moment and didn't see anything, and my husband was in the next room working on his computer. I hollered and asked him if he had said something to me, and he said no. I knew it wasn't him, as he doesn't play games like that (He knows I'm serious about my spiritual experiences). I never did find out what it was. I do have some spirited vessels that I keep with me at all times, and some crystals but my spirited vessels contain female spirits, not male. My husband has a male spirit, but I'm not really sure why his spirit would be trying to contact me since I am not it's keeper.

Anyways, the voice was male, as I stated and the sound of the voice seemed to be a younger male, maybe 20 something, or maybe younger. The voice was very low and smooth.

Being a medium, I hear my name called, I hear ghost music (usually the 40's era and sometimes the 20s) I hear a low murmur of voices in the hallways and no my house is not haunted.

Just means you have clairaudience. You can hear spirit.

Yesterday at work as I was walking down the hall I heard someone (my guide or a ghost I believe. I work in a nursing home so there are bound to be spirits everywhere) whisper my name. It was the weirdest experience I've had on my spiritual journey. I snapped my head around so fast when I heard it but no one was around. It was like I heard my name but there was no noise... does that make any sense? lol Im hoping to keep working on my meditation and hear more of what those on the otherside have to say

I always feel "energies" in nursing homes, hospitals, funeral parlors. They normally have a diffrent smell to them but I tend to get many diffrent smells. I used to always feel like there were people in the hall way even when it was empty.

It is very possible it was someone trying to say hello to you Could have even been a previous pationt, just trying to say thanks!.

My #3 Son works in a assisted living/ nursing/ psychiatric home as an aid. He is also very sensitive. But until he started to see me doing readings and such did he start to open up about his experiances. In fact all 3 started to open up! lol

Im waiting for him to come home and say Mom your not going to belive this! He knows I will lol

Him and his freinds were a bad boy's over a year ago. They broke into a condemed phycatric hospitial that has major ghost stories. (I wanted to kill him when I found out, while at the same time I had to bust for a week before I asked him how was it inside! lol

He actually has some of the previous pationts in the home he works in now.synchronized events! lol

My guides call my name all the time. Its for you to "LISTEN!". I hope going into hospitals and nursing homes that you know to protect with white light. They are the fastest places to pick up lost souls.

I am an ex-care home manager, and as you know we watch and care for many sweet souls as they pass over. If you are a kind and considerate carer, which I am sure you are, you have bound to have touched the lives of many dear people before they leave this mortal plane. It is no wonder that some of them want to come back to you and say a thank you, even if it is just saying your name close by to you.

If ever I go for a psychic reading, there is always LOADS OF PEOPLE who pop in, just to say there names, just to say hello, nothing else. I take this as a nice little compliment that they appreciated all that we did for them in their last few years/months/days.

I think that you are a very special spirit here on this earth. You give a lot, with no thoughts of reward. You give of yourself just because it is second nature to you to do this. And now, some of these special spirits that you cared for just want to thank you for all that you did.

I'm snceing that it is a female who passed away there recently or not to long back. I keep gting the letter "A" I suck at name so I can't give you a name but maybe Abagail and Gail for short ? She wants you to know she is there. Also are you in school or training? I'm hearing that she dous not want you to give up. Also is there a man there that used to pick on her (in a fun way, with the name that starts with a B, like Bill? I'm hearing that she won the bet and she'll expect payment as soon as he get s to the pearly gates. She actually has a wonderful sence of humor and seems to be quite happy. A... Hmm I can't come up with an A but I'll think about it a bit more. I meet so many people in my line of work names sometimes escape me. But your description sounds somewhat familiar, the bet part that is. I will think about it some more and see what I can come up with.

Last night I had another somewhat disturbing experience. I woke up abruptly and automatically looked in the upper corner of my room and I saw just a large black shadow on the wall... It didn't extend downwards, it just was like a black figure on the ceiling/wall. I wasn't scared but just bothered by it and it kind of surprised me that when I woke I knew something was there. Any idea what that was? It did not feel menacing, just intruding.

I don't know, maybe I just picked up on another spirit who was near by,lol. The dark blob or shadow are often known as shadows or shadow people. There is alot of different theories concerning who or what they are. They do not seem to be intellegent,in the sence that they don't respond to you when you interact with it. They are lower negative energies or entities that feed off of lower energy. My theory is that they are an ac***ilation of negative energy that over time seems to become a life of it's own. I have found them to be a little spooky but they, in themselves don't seem to be a threat, however, at least in my experience, when there is a shadow in the house, they often attract lower entites that do like to reek havoc. Because they are also an ac***ilation of negative energy, the negative energy that you feel around you may also increase. I would defiently cleanse the house and get rid of the shadow. A basic house cleanseing ritual should do it. hope this helps Oh, and one more thing, because you work in an evironment with so much extreme emotions such as sadness, fear, ect, from the patients, staff and families, you may also want to do a daily cleanseing ritual on yourself before you come home from to get rid of any energy that you may have picked up at work

Thanks for the cleansing tip, I hadn't even thought of that. As you said I am around alot of strong emotions everyday. I wonder if that is part of my some depression I have been experiencing lately and as you say, perhaps something latched on me and came home. :\ I will have to do some research on a whole house cleansing since I have never done one but I am very interesting in doing one. Last night I saw the black shadow on my wall again. I didn't feel fear as before but it bothers me.
