It is nice hearing every one say whether their friends/family/partners believe, I haven't really spoken to friends or family about it, I think a few would kind of believe, but in their own time and own way..

I think my mum believes, but I haven't spoken to her about it, she used to tell me of dreams she would have of deaths and other things and they would come true! No one paid attention to her, at the time I never said anything, but I did believe her..

I think in a way it is a fear which makes people not want to believe..

A matter of fact I was only introduced to all of this in September of 2008. I haven't been doing it that incredibly long but I have come so far since then.

I know a lot of people who are afraid to let others know about their gifts. I have the mentality of this. It's my job to bring forth the information, and how they take it is not my responsibility. Some totally agree, some are skeptical, and others think I am a nut case. Regardless of others reactions I know that what I do is for the better of others and will help many people in the long run.

A matter of fact, I have always wanted to help people, I was then brought into the spiritual world and realized in fact that I can help people in ways I never even imagined.

You know I agree with the science and spirituality thing. Except my dad who is a "Sci-Fi" kind of guy believes in it but he believes in the energy aspect of it, which is all in the same. Some of the things I tell him he will tell me I am wrong and other things he agrees upon.

I live with my mom and my brother. My mom knows that I have dreams that come true--only because I mentioned some of those dreams to her before they came true. My brother was sensitive as a child, but he seems to have grown out of it. I think they both suspect that I'm a little "different." =] Many of my friends know and some adults at my high school---I usually only tell the people whom i get messages for. Every person has been so accepting about it; there was only one instance which was recently that I had a reaction from someone when I told them their deceased loved one was talking to me. Even then, she didn't react negatively to the fact that I could see her loved one, just to the information i might get from her mom. Sorry, that was convoluted. Hope it makes some sense.

I actually have two girls from my college that I am helping learn about the spiritual aspect of life. What I'm trying to say is that people usually respond positively, at least as far as I've seen, because they want some type of proof, or at the very least, some hope that there is really something worth living for in this life.

I'm sure your boyfriend will come around. He might just need some proof of his own. =]

It is really nice that your able to help people, like with every one else here, I hope I can one day..

Yeah maybe when he sees something for himself, or if there is something I can show/tell him then maybe he will start believing, that would be nice

Hey Funksta!

Its very natural for some to believe and some to not..

When I told my boyfriend that I was into reiki and I spoke about spirit guides and healings, he thought I joined a cult! lol

But over time, with your experiences and experiences of his own, he will learn if he has an open mind to these things.. It is a wonderful aspect of life that many fear, it is just initial, once you believe and communicate, its a great path

Now my boyfriend is a reiki practitioner and a believer!

Yeah it is nice so many people have others in their lives that understand them and are positive about it. My boyfriend is stuck in his ways I guess and just believes what he can hear, see, feel etc.. So maybe one day he will see it for himself..
