I wanted to do a little survey if I may. My impression has been that although the beliefs of each individual vary, they tend to follow a similar ultimate theme. This is that the ultimate objective, focus, destination, realization, fulfillment or however envisaged has a necessary element of becoming more than just one’s self. Whether this be: a connection to God; an understanding of the universe; a joining with each other or whatever. Only that the ultimate desire of the journey requires in some way the becoming part of something greater than your mortal self. Although by nature at least most of the members of this forum would be on their spiritual quest; this could also be intellectually or physically. I guess I’m just trying to see if my impressions are correct or not.
So the formal question… Does the ultimate desire of your journey require, at least in some way, becoming part of something greater than yourself? Of course, if you hold an alternate to this observation, as I’m sure you are aware, feel free to post the details. |

We are all part of something greater than ourselves
Its the moment that we realise this That we start moving forward. Its not a contious decision that moves us on Its not the sincronicities of life that move us on Its the moment that we notice these things are happening Then we come out of ourselves Becoming part of something much greater Then we look back and realise things have changed hermie |
