I've been thinking about this for a while, and can't seem to come to an answer so maybe you all can help. When doing psychic readings for people you 'link' to them. Is this any different than using the HSZSN symbol when doing a reiki treatment? And if it is, is it possible to create the link using the symbol to do a reading? (For example, I do card readings.) Would this be totally unethical because the person you're reading for hasn't given you permission to 'link' in this way? Or is this all just a waste because you automatically link to them by thinking of them during the reading?

I wouldn't think it is unethical because you could say in your mind that if the person rejects the connection the energy should be returned to the earth.

I'm a medium. I'm not familiar with Reiki, or the ethics of psychic readings other than mediumistic, but my guides won't allow me to read anyone who hasn't asked for a reading. They say this is because they may have to access the Akashic Records of the person and therefore must have permission. I suppose this is also a safeguard for privacy, as I can't just ask about people for my own curiosity.
