I got some really nice presents from my family! Clothes, A little digital camera, a necklace, two music CD's(One from Cirque Du Soleil), a cute little dragon statue, some other things, and I got a piano keyboard!!! And I'll be getting the book A Journey to Come....I'm really happy, and grateful. I didn't ask for most of those things I recieved because of money, not even the keyboard even though I wanted one.. It was really nice of my family. I consider seeing my cousins today (after the whole crazy fight for 2 years) a real blessing..I'm so happy everything was like normal, as if nothing bad ever happened. I had a really great Christmas this year.

Glad to hear that..Man, I had this dream of being able to play this sonata from Frank Sinatra when I was young...I never learned the piano formally though..I tried self teaching myself...got to around grade 3 and never had any time

OK here goes:

*The boxed set of DVD's of Season One of The Ghostwhisperer TV series
*A Sewing Machine and things to go with it, so I can make Tarot bags, etc. (Which I'm supposed to be learning how to use right this minute)
*A battery charger and some rechargeable batteries(for my wireless mouse and keyboard which always eat up all the batteries in the house.)
*A gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse from my sister (Yumm)
*A decoration to hang in the kitchen from my friend
*Peace from my mother
*Money from my step-father (I don't have it yet but he says it's on the way)
*The number one greatest gift of all-a smile on my teenage daughter's face when she opened up her X-Box 360 that she just knew we couldn't afford and had virtually no hope of receiving....and all the spontaneous hugs that came from her steadily throughout the entire day.

Wishing you all a safe and Happy New Year....

My precious son and daughter-in-law are just starting out and have limited finances. The gifts they gave me were the most thoughtful gifts I have ever received.

Last year they gave me one of those laser crystal angels with the lighted base. I cried for a week. It was absolutely beautiful. They also gave me a crystal rose.

This year the two of them made a shelf for me to display my angels (I got another one this year). My daughter-in-law's sister also gave me an angel lamp. I've never seen a shelf like this one -- my son designed it himself and it is absolutely beautiful.

I now have my angels on it and can't get a thing done in the house. I turn the angels on and just lay around and look at them, crying the whole time.

Do you mind if I brag on my precious son a little bit? He is an amazing young man and his wife is just as precious to me.

Thanks for letting me ramble!

Aleah
