Thanks for all the Birthday wishes.

It's been a great one so far. My partner had a gift made for me. It is a necklace, with a slice of gemstone hanging from. It looks like agate, but I don't know what kind. It's not in my gemstone book.The edges are like a snowflake kind of, and the circular bands in it are shades of taupe (a type of brown for you guys)...lol, and white.

If anyone knows about stones, I can scan it and send it in for you to have a look at. I'd like to know what the properties of it are.
Oh, and when Jim picked out the stone for me, he said it danced in his hand...part of the reason he chose it. Then he had a gold ring melted down to make a top for it to hang with from the chain be bought.
