it's not that one world government is bad (and i'm frequently disappointed with people who can only see it as such), it's that the type of government is of primary importance. there isn't one government in the whole of the world which i would consider beneficial to spread throughout, but that doesn't mean that such a beneficial government type can not exist. in some ways, if the population stays at or near its present size (or larger) some form of united government is nearly necessary -- separated governments really only work well when populations are also separated.

but those persons/entities which have been most busily involved in the governmental process have been exactly the entities which believe, to varying degrees of alignment, with control-based societies. and in the worst cases, those people have been involved in half-hidden activities which seek to spread a control-based government throughout the world... what we need, assuming that none of the 2012ish predictions come about in any way like they're being prophecied, is a "government" which unites whole continents -- if not the whole world -- in a way which is totally sans control dynamics (basically not gonna happen so long as strong sts people excercise their control muscles). the only alternative, as i see things, is a tribal-structure world of small communities but this is impractical/impossible with anywhere near present population sizes. in a way, we need this dimensional shift; in its place, at the least, we need a major shift away from control-centric society models.

in short, one world government is not inherently evil, just like government, capitalism, socialism, expansionism are not necessarily evil... it is a matter of how they are used/implemented. there's more i want to say which is related to this topic, but i'm not totally sure if it's appropriate so i'll hold my tongue :d

...however, unless we have a world-wide epiphany to get everyone on the same page any world government would likely be one of force, not unity, whatever its orientation - as a government that serves itself or a government that serves the people. sts or sto.
i completely agree with your post. a single unifying government (sug? ) isn't something that would be beneficial *as things stand at this moment in time* on the planet, due to the consciousness present in those who currently want to rule the world.

however, as the new galactic energy begins breaking away the (already crumbling) egoic structures in the minds of people, the selfish desire to control and subjugate others falls away, and a new desire to help, uplift and serve others comes through.

in a world where every single person is lit up with divine energy, where our primary reason for doing any thing is to uplift and help others, a world government will only be needed to coordinate the logistics of making sure that every single person has free energy, clean water, organic food, shelter, clothing and internet access. (although clothing is optional on the internet :d )

only then will we be able to call ourselves "civilized."

wow, i've never heard it verbalized like that (understanding i'm not really hearing it). thats exactly what we need, i think. our government, if we even need one or that it should be called that, should be specifically to help coordinate what every person should already be doing, uplifting our race as a whole. to find a way to help everyone come to the same level of living and a world wide standard way of life (having the necessities, including the internet!).

yeah a one world government sounds great any one that apposes it will be classified as a terrorist hang on don't we already have that ?
um, i don't know exactly why you would post something like this. to me it seemed awfully pointless to make such a derogatory statement.

in my personal opinion, as stated above, there is no government being used in the proper way right now. not to say that any of them are good or bad, but until we as a race raise our level of understanding no government is good especially a one world government. until the people of the world can come together under the knowledge that we are all one and are all the same government will only seperate and segregate us anyway it can. so at this point i must say that no a one world goverment is not good, and until we as a people change it will not be good.

love to you all and myself, all is one and one is all

a one world government could be the greatest thing to happen for all of us. then again, it could be the worst. depends on who is running the thing.

no! a one world government would be a bane to humanity. corruption would be way worse than it is now. rfid chips, curfews, martial law, rationing of essentials(food, water, basic needs, etc). this poses several questions in my mind:

1 how would we be able to think freely?

2 would there be a new resurgence of terror? can we say in our own towns this time?

3 if we cannot trust the governments that are in place now, then how could we trust an even larger government on a global scale?

4 what would we, the folks of the world, gain from letting a new world government take power? freedom? liberty? the pursuit of happiness?

5 if every politician is suspect the world over, why then would we even give them even greater power?

6 (i am not a christian but i have read the bible) but does not the revelation of john, in the bible, speak of such a thing?? and point out that it is a corruption? also that it would enslave the human race? does it not also state that it would kill those that would not follow (take the mark)?

i could go on with the cons of the one world government. these are a few questions that came to mind. i do see a brighter future coming as david has pointed out in his materials and lectures. these are my questions and have no meaning to anyone else but myself. i know that we are in uncertain times and that fear is an unwelcome commodity that is hurled at us through all facets of media. i just think that in the next few years we have to prepare ourselves for the positive shift that is coming.

just my 2 cents

i could simply refer you to the book in which he goes into this (it's book 2) but in a nutshell he is basically saying we need to do with the nations the same thing that we ended up doing with the united states when we united all of the states under a single republic and abandoned the articles of confederation.
this is already happening in eco villages. each smaller village decides how it governs itself, but falls under the base rules of the main eco-village. it can also break from the main eco-village if it wants to.

but what needs to be implace are principles, integrity, freedom and love. the freedom and love are the most important principles which all governance should be based.

and with the new shift in consciousness coming, corruption and bribes stop. we may not even need money.

actually, if bribes and corruption could of been eliminated in our time, the united states goverment would run well and grow till all the wolrd ran like the u.s.

i can accept the idea of having a one world government,
as far as it does not try to impose itself as my world government.....

guidance and organization would be wholly appreciated

in love

the way i see it happening is self governing to the point that each is on even terms truthfully and rightefully. all having a perfectly equal vote that is included without exception. this to me is forth density understanding and the foundation of a global social memory complex. the open and honest communication which resonates with 4th density will ensure liberty. of course on many levels this has already begun. a "one world government" in 3rd density, to me, can only come to be if the planetary consciousness is met with unbiased peace and every entety permanently relinquishing the need to control...................................sylvain. ...........................

yeah, i see what you are saying. on the one hand it would be very beneficial for the world to be united and work together. but could those individuals in this world government keep themselves from becoming corrupted and self-serving? if you take your answer from the history of this planet then the answer would be a resounding, "no".

the word government is derived from the greek κυβερνᾶν (kybernan), which means "to steer" or "to control". i think it would be best to get away from this idea of a controling government and just have more of a "council of elders". maybe this council would be less about dictating absolutes in which the people have to live by or be punished and be more about lending advice for the best way to handle situations. so the people are still free to make their own decisions.

the only way there will be peace, in my opinion, is through freedom.

in nature its usually the mother or female of the species that takes care of the children and in some cases a human mother will walk around in rags and starve herself so the children are taken care of first no matter how selfish the children are.

we are currently experiencing a male dominated world or mind set and using lions as an example as they resemble the current governmental climate the ones whom are the strongest will take power with little regard for the defeated opponents children.

the pursuit of power and control has left our planet and our selves in purposely weakened state to keep the power full few in positions of control and power.

we refer to those in power as big brother and if you think about it big brother has a big bag of sweets and he ain't sharing mother has passed away so there isn't any one to make him share maybe its time we all grew up, sweets are bad for us any way. :d

why do you need any person/persons, body, structure to govern you? are you not capable of governing yourself?

you all know what any government ultimately does......seeks power for itself through control, manipulation and greed. don't take my word for it.......look in any history book you care to mention. why would any person with any spiritual insight, desire anybody to govern them? please excuse my ignorance but i cannot for the life of me understand why any soul would want a world government under any circumstance!!!

if you talk about a government in utopia terms....one that would be true to the people with no regard for itself..........it is not required, because this would only happen when every individual is in that state of being........which i suspect is where we are all trying to get to!

i hope this doesn't sound like a rant but i am amazed by wonderful beings like yourselves contemplating something that is clearly not required!. you govern your world so get out there and enjoy it....and show the less awakened what they are missing.

suffice to say i am my own government........and i forgot to order milk for the morning.....no cornflakes for me!!......shows what i know! :d

love and self government to you all!

xxxx

i certainly mean no offense to anyone, and i definitely respect other-selves' right to make decisions and form opinions, but i have no desire whatsoever for any form of world government. although i am an idealist who would like to think no form of government is necessary, i do see (reluctantly) the need...er, or maybe the comfort, of governing bodies.

if you find yourself in 4d earth, which means you are in fact more polarized towards sto, that necessarily means you are resonating with the beingness of unconditional love. i find it difficult, perhaps even impossible, to conceive of wanting to establish a single governing body for everyone. surely we can discover what works for groups of souls who are attracted to one another. and will we not still be able to receive guidance/assistance from positive higher density beings?

ra states that 4d earth will be 100 times more harmonious than 3d. if things are that much easier, i cannot see why i would want the "security" of some huge government "looking out for me".

i personally am resonating intensely with jim's (bluebird1711) following statement:

if you talk about a government in utopia terms....one that would be true to the people with no regard for itself..........it is not required, because this would only happen when every individual is in that state of being........which i suspect is where we are all trying to get to! amen!

peace,
doug
