Default Dalai Lama and reincarnation
hi

just watched a documentary about dalai lama and his efforts to communicte with china....in the end he says he doesn't know if he is the reincarnation of a dalai lama, at least he never dreams about that. he dreams though that he is a buddist monk, and that noone can take away from him.

why doesn't he search for someone to lead him through a regression to past lives like many others do, to find out?????????????????? anyone has his e-mailadress

hi allykat!

totally agree, he must be very strong to dare to walk with bush jr his arm under his after having ben rewarded with that prize, bush talking about "freedom and human rights" without feeling compromised, mislead and manipulated.....just couldn't help wondering because i'm on the brink of calling a woman for a regression myself any day now...

i watched a documentary about h.h.trulshik rinpoche who is one of the main teachers of hh the 14th dalai lama. and the interviewer said that while he was watching rinpoche do one of his chants he was driven to cry. not just a weepy eyed sniffle but a full on sobbing, choking cry. and the weird thing is that my aunt's friend has a rare video of the dalai lama doing one of these chants and my aunt was driven to the same sort of sobbing crying. what is that? maybe he evokes the love and oneness that we came from through his chanting?

but transiten, do the regression! i want to know how it turns out for you because i want to do one too. but one thing is that the only memories that come through are the ones that have relevance to your present life. so maybe the only past life memories the dalai lama is having is the ones relevant to his life right now.

and like allycat said, does it really matter? i don't entirely agree with the whole search they do for the reincarnation when the old one dies. it is like they can't live without their savior. they need to find the savior inside of themselves. know what i mean?

here is the doc i watched (i am pretty sure this is it, it has been a long time):
