also, the show featured the blue ridge parkway which in the fall is absolutely gorgeous.
http://www.luminous-landscape.com/lo..._parkway.shtml
now you're talking about my neck of the woods! paradise! the only problem with the parkway is that sometimes it can be congested, which distracts from the experience. tourist season starts pretty soon and you have to go further to reach isolation, so to speak. if there is interest in visiting the area, etc., drop a line.

i was thinking more along the lines of mission point resort. it is at the east end of haldimand bay. with acres if grassland in front of it. it is definitely less expensive & less crowded than the grand hotel (although not as luxurious, i know.......nothing beats the grand, and they know it!!) mission point has a museum, a weight room, a theatre, gardens as well, and conference rooms........... it really is a less expensive alternative to the grand & it is removed from downtown............ i kind of got a vibe from that place, and i think that it would be an outstanding place for a conference/retreat........... plus, if we book it as such, i think we'd get a heckuva better discount than the grand would be willing to give.

soooo....... how about that east end of the island?

(dw & co., you really should look into this...... there are no cars, it's a 6 x3 mile island, 80 to 85% of which is national park, it's horses and bikes only, for the ocean lovers crowd out there, i promise you, you'd think you were on one of the coasts, believe me, plus you get web access, fax, cell phones, etc....... it is taking a step back in time as far as transportation goes, but honestly, you are just surrounded by nature with just enough smattering of people to keep things "civilized"........ i think it would be far more economically viable to do something here than hi, but i am not the one looking in that direction - - nor will i push......... well maybe a nudge........ for you to check this out............. i promise you though...... it is so very unique that you might actually consider doing something like this anually......... i am not exagerrating on this................. i 'm not......!!)

i know everybody wants to talk about the golden gate bridge, and in ny, the george washington, etc, however, i have to tell you, this is a sight to behold. why i think it would be great to go there is because this year "the mighty mac" turns the big 5-0!! there's a huge celebration planned for it this summer, it being the third largest single-suspension bridge on the planet......... it's one thing to see it, it's another thing to cross it, but, if you fly in.......... w-o-w........... especially in winter......... to see the water, frozen in it's wake....... especially considering reading & realizing dw's material........ it is just simply a sight to behold. i think i just realized why i reincarnated to this form here in mi......... i am surrounded by freshwater, woodlands, and the works, but no matter whom i am talking to, they can look at a satellite photo, a map, or whatever, and see that we are all "waving" to them & saying "hello" at any/every time.............. is that not the biggest "welcome" you can imagine........

i love all of you & i hope that a dw conference can become a reality in this wonderful & marvelous place...............

mackinaw island, indeed. yes, thomas, there's no doubting that the location where christopher reeves' film, "somewhere in time" was done would be an absolutely awesome place to hold a confrence, take a vacation, do a weekend gig, plan a day-trip, or just to stroll over and hang-out on perhaps one of the biggest porches on the planet. and, this ole rocker could drive there in about four to five hours, depending on what music was playing. now i remember why i included that third question. indeed, and i have so many wonderful memories of that place, both growing up, in my formative years, as well as later on. yo!, dw, ya got your "ears" on?

bob
definitely a great idea to hold some type of get together where "somewhere in time" was filmed!!!!!! i've never been there, but what a beautiful place! totally inspiring!

i am one that has cruised the universe with david , and have made great friends who i still stay in contact with.
one beautiful lady i meet was in egypt with her son who was with our group.when i got home and stayed in contact with her i found out that she did not know anything about the loo or david's convergance research material etc...she had just asked the tour company to book them with a spirtual group. it proved to me that "let spirit" & get rid of fear.
i really felt joy in introducing her to the 'law of one" material.
i also felt joy of introducing her to david's research.

i went to egypt alone. my husband had not worked or looked for work for two years. i knew that you can only change yourself. it was the best discision that i have ever made.
i have learned things, so much quicker by just listening to david.
he seems to have the gift of awaking me.
i am now living alone and it is wonderful.
i have no co-dependany etc...

i was born in virginia in 1951. when i was 9 ,i started reading about edgar cayce. i felt a sadness because i felt that i knew him ?? why did he pass right before i was born? i went to the edgar cayce center many times in the following years. i had a vivid dream that i saw edgar caycee on a cruise ship. how could i? i was not alive in this 3d place when he was?
it wasn't until i was on a ship with david and we were doing a lifeboat drill that i realised it was david that i saw in my childhood dream, not cayce..but i haven't meet david yet?

that was when i got the message..here and now. no such thing as time anyway

how are ya doing nelson? you are one that i have not kept up with.

let us know about your trip to the amazon. that is where i feel that we will go as a group next.
i am good for anytime after 2008 nov. if we get a big group maybe i could afford it sooner. i do believe that we will do it. i can smell the brazillian
air.

oh, nelso i bet you get some of thoes cigars. lol
i truely love you all. we are really all one.

chris hamilton you are the bomb

to all dc forum folks, and friendly orbiting et's,

the second week of august, there will a minor invasion of the great state of michigan, as several waves of wondering wanders wind their way up i-75 and such, and hang out for a weekend of joy and laughter, on the tiny island with that big hotel.

negotiations are on-going to reserve a meeting room an the grand for saturday, the 11th, and other activities will be enjoyed. addionally, for those that may chose, we are trying to get a group-rate on rooms at the grand hotel, under the group name "d.c. forum," and will post the info as it comes in, again, no later than this monday, april 23rd. but there are many other fine places to stay, both on the island as well as on both sides of the bridge in st. ignace, or mackinac city and surrounding areas, as well as campgrounds, or if you can, come by boat- there are even a lot of marinas. scheppler's ferry service runs often, and it's about a 16 minute ride over and back, departing from mackinac city.

nelson and i have done a lot of work on this, at least an hour or so, so far, and would welcome anyone's ideas/suggestions to really make this a blast.
but as he's in panama this week, and i'm here in toledo with my lawn tractor callin' me, it'll be mon.at least before everything is nailed down, at least on the "grand plan." but it is time now, to see if this can fit in and become a part of your summer vacation plans, as it definitely is on.

so, let the bookings begin! and if i may, i have found this to be an awesome booking engine, for just about everything... http://www.ytbtravel.com/rriddle

looking forward to being in your space...

hello group, bob janet, david

we will definitly be rolling with mac island and will have some answers mañana but it will take a few more days to to determine some altrnative hotels that relate to a more affordable package for others on a tighter budget (heck one might be me in a sleeping bag outside under the and even apossible stargate vortex, according william henry and his recent u-tuber; who can say !) , then cheif engineer (bob) will then let you know a preliminarily approximate cost. (does that not sound like a politician´s reply; but yet why does he not answer the question -- how much?) may be i will run for office next year, na a better idea is to run from it. either way we will go full force.

it is much wiser for a trip to brazil mature naturally and to not be crammed in, but promoted correctly over time (again should david so choose). either way jan, i will take bunch of pix and meet the head honchos. glad your doing well jan you sound positive, because you are. that a girl! and that boy bob and david for great work all the time. everyone needs an ¨at´a boy and an at´a girl every now and then.¨

talk about more synch´s (synchronicities) i flew next to a wonderful women today that is from rio de janeiro, brazil. she was returning back from india, however she frequents indonesia (bali) much as well. naturally from the grt go the vibe was spot on in terms of our conversation goin into the upcoming shift. bottom line that after adding my humble perspective (which unfortunatly is never that humble) but just directly to the point and without reservation. she took it in without a second thought and wher to turn to learn more (keep in mind this person was very much into quantum physics - that is predominanlty what she reads and studies) i identitified david and the web site as to a good place to start - and that she should go slow with the material and to disregard that which does not ring an inner bell of truth within her. use your own free will i said. she cut thru that in about 2.2 seconds and then went directly into her numerous visits to india and indonesia over the last 20 years or so. she said especially in the 9 years (remember the 1998 sidereal from ra and david (that means a temporat side track - like bob´s train) that these people to numurous in which to mention and several scientists at that, also mention the same time period of 2012. this is without me ever mention 2012, i simply staed ¨right around the corner¨.

ok! what´s the point, everybody is the point and all get it, consciously, subconsciously or even unconsciuosly depending on their level of vibration (which to me means ¨open-ess¨) the more you are open to give the more you recieve only to be able to give again. thus raising the vibration of one´s energy. isn´t that neat how it end´s up back at one (one´s energy).

there were also other issues she reffered to should anyone be interested in what´s really going on elsewhere in the world that never gets reported. in fact she said while in india and taliking to people in brazil while there all the media throught the world played was the virginia teahings. now if that does not mean the dark boys are not operating in our own back yard nothing does. here is something else for ya. in my reading done by david in 2004 a portion of it went like this (not verbatim mind you) to my memory: ¨we feel that there is much tension as you somehow fell singularly charge with duty of saving the, for you do recall having saved the world or the world as it was confined at the time. we realizie your perpective is an honorable one, yet we would ask that you refrain your perspective for ¨the negative elite and and those banker bastards as they have been called, are merely doing the work for you, working as your employees. reflecting humanit´s shadow upon itself realize that the bar has been set as high as it is so that you may not have to make that leap time after time again. but realizie that it has been set so high so that others mat make that leap into faith. etc... etc.. so that each must go through that ¨dark night of the soul¨.

sorry i already went over board (and again that is not perfectly correct), bit these times would be great if i could post my reading. it will take me time to transcribe, but i think it is appropriate at this time to allow others to read it. it is more beautful and full of hope than you know.

that is david´s decision though

love you guy´s , gotta find some light to share on the people that don´t have electricity panama. if you get my drift.

love you guy´s ciao for now

bob
bob and dc forum -

although this doesn't "fit" with the latest posts to this thread, i thought would share an incredible experience with you all. earlier this morning i attended the return of cowee mound to the eastern band of cherokee indians. this area was well-known as a center for congregation, trade, and government, much like any cultural center of indigenous people. it is said that cowee was well known in london in the late 18th century, as much, or more so than any other area in north carolina. the area was preserved by the families throughout the centuries because of its "spiritual significance" and through hard-work and patience, was finally returned to its rightful owners.

it was with great honor to be able to attend such a historic and rare event. the "electricity" was in the air, if you know what i mean. in all, 71 acres was returned to the cherokee people and the area will be preserved for future generations as there are strict restrictions to "development", so to speak. the ceremony included several speakers including the present chief of the ebci, who spoke powerful words. upon completion, a group of cherokee men performed a ritual dance, which until 2 years ago, had not been performed on that ground since 1775!

i wanted to share this with you all as it is an example of "cooperation and reconcilation" with the ebci and the people of western nc that is symbolic of "healing" in these times we live. as stated during the ceremony, "this event marks an occasion where history serves to bring people together, not drive them apart". i hope to hear about more events like this in the future, as it was "good for the soul" to observe and experience such a thing. hope you enjoyed the story. :d

well, it appears to be a done-deal!

calling & faxing through-out the day, from about 10 am, til almost 6 pm, (can you believe their computers were down?), we have a confirmation, pending faxing, and signing, and a pony-express delivery/conference from/with the reservation tzar, that the dc forum group holds the last 15 or so rooms at the grand, for the weekend of *-10 thru 8-12.

so, as we are entitled to convention rates, on a modified american plan, here's the tentative deal- don't try to book a room yourself, unless you want to pay the full rate/day, or a little over $600: as a member of this group, you'll be entitled to a substantial discount, or about $375/day, but we gotta follow their program, and i'll be gettiing the paperwork within the next horse, or two.

and that's about all there is tonight, from the south shores of beautiful, lake erie...

dear shipmates,

the speculating, assuming, and general breathless-anticipation concerning an up-coming island encounter is over.

consider this as an official anouncement: the "divine cosmos forum group," consisting of david and friends, will be at the following location august 10th, through august 12th, 2007: the grand hotel, on mackinac island, in the great state of michigan!!!

those of us who have already experienced the joy, laughter, comeradere' and educationally-informative experience of a david wilcock event, can tell ya'll with no reservation, that a wonderful time shall be had by all who go here.

and speaking of reservations, we were only able to get the last fifeteen or so rooms left at the inn for this weekend, but everything, including the use of our own meeting rooms is confirmed; enhancements to the overall itinerary and additional fun-stuff is now being developed, so stay tuned. and there is always the possibility that an additional group may chime in and be included for the event, to really make it the more merrier for all. and, of course, the "david" will be lovingly transported, on eagles' wings, and gently dropped on the front porch of the grand, for the duration of this 3-day event.

the details on how to get one of the group-reserved accomadations at the grand will be forthcoming in about a week, as the hotal policy must be adhered to concerning group bookings, and we are booked under the name: d.c. forum- pretty easy to remember, eh?

looking forward to being in your space.

bob

p. s. hey, nelson- call me again on that jungle pay-phone when ya get a chance- got an issue or two for you to ponder...

ofcourse that would be bob cheif engineer of not only this train but others as well (mostly on ohio tracks). great work bob you get the first annual ¨dc forum award¨ for being the best proactive ¨dc´er of the year. maybe we can revise the name and title of some type of award for those thought souls that take the bull by the horns so to speak. so, yes when we arrive we may be able to that old stargate opened up in northern michigan that william henry had mentioned in a recent u-tuber.

everyone needs to start contacting me or bob because we booked 15 rooms that have until july11 to reserve by, ofcourse there are other hotels at less that are local to the grand hotel. bob will be obtaining more details within a week or so.

jump on board the train is now moving!
peace, nelson

hey nelson, and group,

so now ya wanna play train, eh? it took a while to get you to get down off your horse, and drink your milk, and now we got railroadin' on the brain, do we? oh, very well. just remember, we have rules on the railroad, such as "i" before "e", except after "c", and don't forget our tee-shirts, bro.

here's the link to the above-mentioned you-tube vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mogkhlfn-wg , and i don't care if some et's come through stargates, or whatever, they ain't getting no room at the "grand" if their not a d.c. forum member. in other words, more rules!

and sorry to inform, but amtrak doesn't go there any more- and besides, amtrak sucks- it's being operated by a bunch of ex-special forces-green beret, railroader wanna-be control-freaks, who don't have a clue regarding the concept of sto.

but we are organizing a road rally; from toledo to mackinac city, for thurs. the 9th, with a scheduled stop at dtw, for dw. and speaking of nine, that's how many reservations are left out of our block, fyi.

i wonder what william henry's doing that weekend?

later, gater-boy!

ttylftg,

dear charran,

in concern of those travelers who travel-a-lot,, for example, if one had an air-itinerary, where under the heading; routing it says: dtw-mdw-lax. what this means in 'airline-speak" is that a traveler will be departing detroit, stopping off at chicago midway airport, and then on to los angeles international airport,; trip-over. so, in plain-english, dtw is actually a really big meg-air transportation facility, servings the greater detroit area. but on a map, you'd have to search it out in the community of romulus, michigan, because that's where it is, but that's another story; thus: dtw for short. you're "down" with the dw, right?

ya gotta, gotta, love it!

bob

p.s. scratch the nine- as of an hour ago, there are now only eight remaining room vacancies left, out of our original fifteen,, as janet chimed in from alabama with a request today, and also that was addresed towards nelson, not anybody else, as wee've learned to communicate in our own version of blah, blah. copy? over, and out!!!

i got an official grand hotel welcome pack in the mail, today, and the only word that comes to mind is wow!

for anyone still interested in staying at the grand, please follow the above instructions to my privete "e". ( i heard ya, megan),remember this is a real-world hotel, not second world, so i'll need your real world information, just like if you were checking into any other hotel, because, well ,that's what you are doing. and then, when the list is complete, i'll present it to the co-ordinator, for the grand handling group bookings.

be advised, also, that what has started out as just an idea, has now morphed into, into an ever expanding, evolving, happening, and you can't wait to see what's up ahead.

and lest anyone forget, it was thomas, the ecentric one, who had the original idea in the first place. if there's going to be any nelson awards, i nominate him-( i'm assuming a him- it's so hard to tell with everyone going "virtual".)

so, i'm doing all the work, all my cars are broke down, or in a shop, i just bought a new mongoose tonight, with disc brakes, no less, (that's a bicycle, charran)so i'll get around, worry not,: i'm away from them stinkin' trains for 11 days, i'm not getting a nickel for doing any of this, and there's not enough money out there to pry me away from doing what i'm doing here-because it's just my job.

lookin'forward to bein' in your all's space.

looks like i better get my nishiki (also a bike...that is in need of repairs) in gear already since you have yer new mongoose toy now!

hey there, charran,

well, ya know, these are the times when all "secrets" will be revealed, so perhaps if you had just waited a little bit longer, but, always happy to service.

the mac trip will definitely start off with a road rally, and if anyone has experience with these, and would like to be road warrior for a day,, by all means chime in here, and it would be as good as any place to start right out from my driveway- two quick rights, within a half block, and the next right is ihto the ferry-boat parking lot. i can line-up about 50 cars, and such, and there,s a church lot across the street for any overflow.....

also, it's btob (bring your own bicycle), because the rental bikes are boring, and if ya don't have one, why just go buy one. i was browsing the k-mart the other day, and seen this mongoose, and i knew right thereon the spot, i wasn't going home without it. 21 speeds, front & rear independent susspension, and disc brakes!

and then, i'm only a train guy when i'm behind the throttle, otherwise, i 'm, i guess just am.

divine-cosmos jeopardy! what a great idea! law of one, alex, for $1000, if you please?

bob.
