I'm recently getting back in the swing of things. As most experienced practitioners know, it takes time and practice getting used to being OOB (learning to fly, moving through objects, etc.). Most of my earlier OBEs have consisted of me either trying to find proof that the experiences are real (e.g. looking for a barcode or some number I could verify when I woke up). Eventually, I gave up doing that as the realism (and sometimes hyper-realism) of the experiences were all the convincing I needed. The next task I was working on was mastering the simple task of flying.
Now I am ready to move on to bigger and better things. Supposedly it is possible to instantaneously travel to anywhere by thought. But all of my attempts have failed... sad face ![]() Any help is greatly appreciated! -M |

So the last few days I've tried traveling to a friend's house during my OBEs (and yes, she gave me permission to do so). Both times, I attempted to travel by focusing on her. I read somewhere that traveling through doors/barriers expecting to end up at your destination point works. This morning I exited my body.. after some "deepening" techniques I remembered that I wanted to try to travel to her house. I went to my door and focused on a room in her house, expecting to be there when I walked through. This didn't work so I flew out my window and started flying in the direction she lives. Unfortunately I knew I would never make it there in time (roughly 30 minutes away), so I closed my eyes and pictured her in my mind and requested help in getting to her house. I thought I felt myself moving faster, but my awareness at this point started to fade. I fell to the ground in front of some strange house. I walked inside and saw a girl that resembled my friend, BUT she looked like a character straight out of an animated film (like Shrek.. or similar). At this point it was very dream like and I can't remember what I said do her. The experience abruptly ended and I was back in bed.
That's how I've attempted traveling so far. But please, do inform me of your methods! I'm not quite sure how you use the address? Can you please shed some light? ******* Edit: Oh, and I am also wondering how to travel or get around in general. For instance, if I wanted to change my environment completely and travel to someplace completely new. Or even learn to travel to all of these wonderful astral places I've read about (you know, places that exist in the astral, not just places my subconscious is creating). Any help is appreciated! ************ Thanks in advance! |

If you can fly that well, you should try flying there. It might be 30 minutes away but as long as you have it somewhere in your head that you want to get there sooner than that you should start to skip past things along the way.It won't take half an hour to get there.Time can kind of get a little relative anyway once you are out. See if you can drawn on a sense of urgency, since you are thinking your time is limited, and i think you will see that flying there will work pretty good. Hover outside her window, look in to see if it looks familiar and then go in through the window once you are there. If you are having some problems going in the window try grabbing on to the sides of it and push yourself in head first.Or you can try going in feet first too if that feels more comfortable.Kind of bring your knees up to your chest with your feet out a little bit.Almost like you are tucked into a ball. I've done that thinking that i would fit more neatly through the window, LOL.It doesn't really make sense but something like that might cross your mind.
Forgot to mention about the astral. The only way i have gotten to the astral so far is with really high speed. You start to speed towards a cloud or a star or anything out in the distance i guess. Things start to become a blur until you get there. Look into the sky once you are hovering outside your window look for a colored cloud and reel yourself towards it.If there are no clouds look for a star, no stars just shoot for the horizon.I guess you could try the moon too but the one time i tried that i didn't end up in the astral i ended up in space closer to the moon. |

After you get good at doing this, then try to do this with people you know in your mind's eye- just make sure you're in the astral first. ps. There are lists of all kinds of things you can train with when you're in the astral that can be fun and educational. If you'd like a link to those conversations I'll be glad to provide it or them. |
