So, I'm doing some energy body swaying. Suddenly I see something bright to my right - only to realise I have unexpectedly seen my alarm clock - which is a digital clock with red light digits. Wondering if I actually had etheric vision I realised I could not tell whether my eyelids where open, closed or fluttering. It was a strange sensation.

Of course I could out something in front of my eyes to exclude the possibility, but I wonder if that kills the possibility altogether - what can you actually look through with etheric vision and what not?

I am not sure I understand the question so I'll put up two very different experiences, and you make up your mind about what they are and what can be done with them-
In the past, I have seen through my eyelids, and tested it by moving my hands, which didn't kill the experience- what ended it was opening my real eyes- I think I consider this to be etheric vision.
I think what Tutor described is Astral Vision- the time I was trying to exit and I could see my husband's projected double hovering above me- Now, the time I opened my physical eyes and saw his chakras, I suppose that can be etheric vision, but not so sure what that was.
Now slightly before this, when I was camping I could see through the tent wall at a raccoon that was sitting outside the tent. I'm not sure how to categorize this, because I was seeing through the eyelids and through the tent. Maybe etheric vision.
But I know that in the times I've had etheric vision I have seen the walls and furniture in the room, and not through them. Now, I haven't tried to do this, may be an interesting experiment.

this etheric is the rainbow (lighted hues) bridge everyone is screaming about being constructed. it already is constructed or we'd not be at all the feeling beings that we are. upon this latticed scaffolding all that is us is.

I didn't know I could move my real hands without killing the experience. But that would have been possible, yes. I moved at some point but that did not end what was happening. I was just not thinking of moving because I thought if I brought my physical body into play it would end.

And good info about the tent, too. So, there are cases when you can see through things and some things stay opaque. All of what you said certainly experimenting around!

Tying a bandanna around your eyes when meditating or sleeping can be enlightening (pun intended). It is what I normally do.

Last night I laid down and did energy work in the dark while listening to "The Shaman's Heart" from the TMI's MetaMusic selection. The music is helpful in several ways - it helps you stay aware through being just interesting enough to not drift away into sleep while not being distracting. Plus there's some HemiSync in the background - no idea what it is supposed to do, though.

During the hour I listened to it I became of my etheric vision coming online at least six different times. Each time by seeing my alarm clock light. But this time I felt my eye lids were relaxed and closed.

That's very interesting. This is the first time I've heard of bb's producing etheric vision. The Shaman's Heart, you say? Is it a download, or a CD you get?

"The Shaman's Heart" is one CD from the MetaMusic series the Monroe institute offers. It's music enhanced with HemiSync.

There is some good music in there - "Indigo for Quantum Focus" is really a piece I like to listen to, for example. This CD is more ambient sound with an underlying beat, but all the noises keep the mind interested.

What I dislike is the lack of documentation what a piece is supposed to do and what states it tries to target. The most explicit information you get is "for concentration" or something like that, not really much to go on. Not much listening instructions either.

So, this MetaMusic collection is really a mixed bag, but there's some gems in there like "Ascension."


I'd say it's not the CD that triggered the etheric vision per se, but it helped stay with the energy work. At one point a strong driving rhythm started and I thought it would kick me out of body, actually.

Metal and rubber and some construction materials are more difficult for me to see through and can block my sight. It is easy to see through cloth or skin . I do not see the physical body like it is naked with clairvoyant vision I see through it and see the energy structures instead or I can pull back to focus on seeing the energy around physical organs .

The magician can learn to control the depth of the visions. Visions can seem to bleed through ceilings and walls , though sometimes I think when we are seeing into the other realm it is not so much seeing through a physical object as it is not being able to see the physical objects . That is that the physical disappears as another dimension occludes physical sight.
