Default Stuck in body
I've noticed a strong feeling of "stuck" when trying to OBE. Also a holding back of sensory abilities as I enter my double.
OBE feels a bit painful on the exit, like a stuggle against restraints. Perhaps this is a common situation? Anyway, my progress will be a bit slow. OBEing feels simple but I simply take alot of time moving into trance unless i'm already a bit sleep deprived. I mention this becuase I haven't ever been able to OBE unless I was breathing at the rate of around 1-2 breaths a minute, or unless very tired, or very relaxed. I didn't mention trance in the last sentence but that is something that helps too.

Oka, the symptoms listed: Feeling Stuck, Pained by the OBE proccess, Lack of senses.

After some soul searching I found parts of my mind that don't want me to progress spiritually becuase it brings fear of the uknown and its (I'm) thinking that "My whole world will change" "Change is scary" Now, in the past I've been able to power past such issues but the parts of me that disagree now fight back and purposley hold my abilities in check. Its starting to become annoying and I have been doing introspection and journalling. (Its part of my excersises)
So I suppose at this point I'm only open to advice. I know of 'tricks' that sometimes help. Such as healing myself before hand and filling any areas that I empty of negetive enegry with a feeling that directly opposes the upset areas.
Reiki on its own has been great for relieving me of stress before hand and has been a good tool.

Well guys/gals; i'm working on this on my own but I just wanted to see what advice I can gather.

You may be going through a 'growth spurt'. I get the feelings you describe when that happens. What I've found is that it's important to pay attention to dreams when this happens, and work on perfecting your trance and do energy work and lots of it without trying to exit. Try this for a few weeks (I know it feels like a lot) and you'll get some sort of 'signal' that you're done and can do it again. What I've found when I'm going through these transitional periods is that trying to force projection is a waste of energy that is probably needed for something else. If you take it easy you'll find that one day you feel 'powered up' and can almost 'not help projecting'.
Just some insights.

It is odd because I just recently IM'd CFtraveler about myself lately having the feeling of a vise (very painful sensation) in my temples whenever I get into a deep trance and feel myself "expanding". This has only started occuring recently.
Flash forward---I posted in dream forum about some recurring dreams I have been having. The response I received was that it sounds like I am fearful of something that I am about to go into in my developement. Like I am ready to go further but conciously am holding back (fear of change). I have also noticed that I am "stuck" or hindered when I do get to the OBE phase. Like I have to struggle hard to get out, if I do at all.........
