Just disrupting the thread for a little. A couple of people have suggested Leyla should be a writer. I know she's a struggling actor and is also experimenting with visual art but I have for sometime now had the strongest sense that Leyla will write books about the kinds of things that interest us here and that she will be very successful and renowned for her her work. I don't know if that's psychic sense or it's just something that's kind of obvious.

Korpo: I keep thinking of who it might be, but come up empty.

Beekeeper: That's some high praise there. Hope I don't disappoint.

"Apples carried souls from one body to the next. Scandinavians thought apples to be essential to reincarnation. Apples are a womb symbol because they are red and contain seeds. Apple games are played on Halloween, the feast of the dead. Samhain is also known as the 'Feast of Apples.' Apples are considered to be one of the foods of the dead. The apple is a symbol of immortality. A bough of apples was a magic charm that allowed the possessor to enter the land of the gods. You rub an apple to remove any spirit which might be hiding inside. Some Wiccans bury apples on Samhain, so that those who will be reborn in the spring will have food during the winter." I'm going to bury three apples in my garden on Halloween. Why? Because he buried three skulls in my garden. The little red wombs I bury can work their magick and absorb the three little skulls he buried. Life to conquer death. It may be that I puzzled this out just in time for Halloween.

Any questions or concerns? It seems like a perfect plan, but I was kinda' worried it might mean I'm making a contract of some sorts with him, and I don't want to make a contract with a suspect entity.

I think in magic and issues of giving/revoking permission your intention is most important. If you intend to use apples as a countermeasure against malicious interference, use them as strong symbols for this, and they help you to manifest your purpose, I think they will be helpful. Just MO, of course.

Good success,
Oliver

Korpo "countermeasure against malicious interference" I like that, and might pen it on the apples before I bury them.

Also, I found this :

One theme is common to almost all regions: sightings of The Wild Hunt's riding foretells war or national disaster. I can draw that this is because many are going to die, and he's collecting their souls. Here are only two examples:

In Shropshire, the leader of the hunt is Wild Eric. The historical figure Edric the Wild, who fought the Normans from 1067-1070, and who was said to have taken a fairy wife, at times also leads the Wild Hunt, appearing whenever England is threatened with invasion. Edric and the Hunt were widely reported as having been seen riding in the months prior to the Crimean War, the First World War and the Second World War. In England, the leader of the Wild Hunt is Herne. His hunt usually is located abound the Windsor Forest were he was a gamekeeper for King Richard II. The ride of Herne has predicted the 1413 murder of Henry IV, 1789 French Revolution, 1854 Crimean War, the 1936 abdication of Edward VIII, World War II , and the death of George VI in 1952. Now, recall the date of the first time I saw the hunter. It was June of 2000- this was when the Taliban would have been plotting the 9/11 attacks, and not long before the start of the war.

This just keeps getting weirder.

I buried the apples, like planned. Almost immediately circumstances forced me to get in touch with my Grandmother. If you will recall my grandmother is very psychic, predicted I would be born on her birthday, and she astral projects.

I now think the woman I met in the astral was my grandmother. The first clue was in the "Ivy Tea Pot" phone number which I was about to give her.

The second clue was this card I'm going to send her, soon, for "Our" birthday. It has nine roses on it, one for each of her children. Since nine is a Goddess number (3x3) I decided to add this poem about the Goddess: "Nine powers combined in me; Nine buds of the plant or tree; My finger are long and white; Like the ninth wave of the sea."

Leyla: She said Cypress women had long slender fingers. So, here we have roses, long white fingers, and an ivy tea pot.

Still - I was not sure.

I called my Grandmother. I hadn't in years. And she said some strange mysterious sounding things. (Like she always does.)

With gravity in her voice she said:
"You know we have a special bond, Leyla, you know that."
"I know we do. I know what you mean by that."
"I get these visitations from the dead."
"I know, Nanny, I get those too."
"You know I believe in reincarnation..."

And then we both fell silent.

Leyla: Then she handed me an ivy decorated teapot. She said it was mine. I have given it to her when I had been her grandmother, and she was returning it to me, now that I had reincarnated....It occurred to me that this was a womb symbol, the round bowl of the pot, and the ivy being like a family tree. It was gold paint, and very fine detail. The Adams family has nothing on us.

You know, I really wonder what all my Grandmother knows that I don't. I get the feeling there's a lot she's not telling me.

Then she told me we should not be separated. That I was beautiful and she loved me. That it was important that we never be separated again. "Don't you ever disappear like that again." Things don't work right, when we're not together...

It was a very, extremely, emotional phone call. Very powerful things were said. Vows of mutual devotion exchanged.

The Reunion of Demeter and Persephone

I felt strongly drawn to this image of Persephone being reunited with Demeter. Remember my troubles with being pursued by the god of death and the underworld, much like Persephone.

When Persephone and Demeter are reunited again, that is when earth can spring back to life at last. For so long as Demeter grieves for Persephone the earth is ...baron.

In my dream that night I saw the lines of an inverted triangle being drawn. I sat up.

Leyla: I went to see a reader...She said "You're going to get rid of him. You will find a way." Then she drew an inverted triangle on a sheet of paper and colored it in black. I looked up Demeter: Guess what her symbol is? De, the Delta, an inverted triangle, the door of the mysterious feminine.

Still no word on the identity of the mysterious undead elf.

I think I have unmasked the identity of the undead elf! An ex lover who practices black magick. (He confessed to having cast a sex spell on me without my knowledge.)

I confronted him via e-mail, and he swung by to attack me in the astral. Unable to get past my circle of protection he somehow managed to trick me into breaking it. The skirmish lasted only a few moments and I was kicking butt.

Motives behind the attacks are still unclear, but from clues I gathered I sent him another email that should put an end to it once and for all. Will keep you posted.

*update*
I took a shot in the dark at why he was mad at me, which he denied. But by comparing the dates this is the only person it could be. Also, that I was astrally attacked right after I confronted him was a confirmation.

Ah ha! I've solved it.

This was all over a long forgotten conversation we had in which I told him I didn't want to have his child.

So - I have tried to appease him with reassurances that it was not him, it was the time and the circumstances, and had the situation been different my answer would have been different.

*UPDATE*

He replied and indeed I was correct. He remembers the conversation quite vividly. I see why this figures to heavily into his EGO and his SELF IMAGE.

The man in question is a blond haired, blue eyed, German. How could I not want his perfect genetics?

Of course he was deeply insulted. The man considers himself to be the creme de la creme of the genetic code. How dare I reject him? From his point of view, I should be begging to have his child.

*Note, I am not saying all blond haired blue eyed Germans think this way, but this one does.

I forgot who I was talking to. His reaction should have been obvious and predictable but I never even thought of it. How could I have been so blind?

Oh me, here is The Erlking, or "Der Erlkönig", in it's original German:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGO00nThyB8

Really, that should have been my first clue.

Maybe later I'll be angry, but for now I am just grateful this is over.
