I was trying to fall asleep last night and was having a lot of trouble. After a while, I suddenly saw in my minds-eye, “vision” of me talking to my best friend. (wasen’t conscious anymore.) so, I was telling my friend that If I died before she did, that I would come back in spirit form and touch her shoulder from time to time. I then touched her shoulder, and as soon as I did, her face was full of horror and suddenly everything went black and I felt light vibrations and heard loud sounds. I knew an OBE was in progress. I waved my astral arms around. Apparently only my upper body had projected. My arms felt very weak and slowly fell to my side, against my will. So I remembered the technique RB mentioned about focusing on absorbing energy from your physical/etheric body. I used the technique and immediately felt energy burst through my astral body. I still saw pitch black but I could see a very faint figure now. I then remembered something else RB mentioned about being able to see clearly when out-of-body. I mentally shouted, “CLARITY NOW!” I quickly felt another burst of energy in my body again, but nothing else happened. So I mentally shouted, “GIVE ME LIGHT!” I felt another burst of energy but this time a small circle of light appeared on the figure in front of me. It looked to me like it was some kind of machine. But I could still barely see it. So, finally, I mentally shouted, “I COMMAND CLARITY!” and I felt a very strong burst of energy now and the object finally lit up all the way. It looked like an advanced machine. It looked a little bit like a radio, tv, printer, and computer combined. And suddenly, my view had zoomed into the machine and I was able to see its fancy compartments and wires and buttons. It was as if I was watching tv in my eyelids. After about a minute, the image faded into the darkness behind my eyelids and I opened my eyes, fully awake.
