I'm interested in being able to perceive auras. I've been spiritually aware from a very young age (had my first distinctly spiritual experience at the age of four or five), and have had prophetic dreams and experienced various kinds of psychic phenomena for most of my life (got a lot stronger around puberty). Lately, I find I'm developing a broader and more comprehensive kind of clairaudience, which is quite interesting, to say the least. I mention all that just to note that I'm no stranger to things "psychic".

The thing is, I've never been clairvoyant. I can sometimes see things in my mind's eye, which is, I guess, a type of clairvoyance, but it's not very clear in most cases. I can visualise very well when I get in the right frame of mind, but, again, I don't think that's actually clairvoyance. And I've NEVER been able to see auras, though I've tried to off and on for years.

I can sometimes sort of "sense" colours around someone if I really concentrate on it, but I'm not sure if that qualifies as seeing auras? I've read that sometimes you can "see" them if you shut your eyes and look with your mind's eye, but I haven't had a lot of success with that.

Basically, I'm just looking for tips on ways I might be able to develop the ability to perceive (or even see) auras. And once I do, where should I look to find out what the colours mean? There are about a zillion websites on the subject, of course, but a lot of them seem to have completely conflicting information...

[EDIT] I just realised this might have been better in the Methods of Perception forum. Mods, please do feel free to move it (not that you don't feel free to do that, I just want to make it clear that I won't get all upset or anything

Yeah, I think I've heard of that dude. I've got one of his books around somewhere....

I did actually do the whole online NEW course, but never thought to look for aura stuff there. Thanks.
