Default Is there anything to gain, do, or otherwise benefit from AP?
Is there anything to gain, do, or otherwise benefit from astrally projecting to the astral planes?

I am talking specifically about the astral planes and not the RTZ.

I mean is there any value from going to the astral planes besides curiosity purposes??

I'm seriously asking, because I want to devote further study of the astral planes (im mainly a RTZ type of guy).

Is there any other value to going to the astral planes, like magic or some stuff i can do?

According to "The Power of Now" it is impossible to reach enlightenment through out of body experiences, that being said I believe that researching the Astral Plane will allow you to further understand life after death, and thus is worth it. It also allows you to have a closer connection with "spirit" or spirit entitys, so you can undertand "what is out there". But that's really a decision for you to make, isn't it?

There was a technique that Robert Bruce described, setting up a picture so that when you go out of body you see its reflection in a mirror. Without thinking anything, just move forward toward the mirror and the scene reflected in it. Expect to go to the place. You can use a mandala (meaning world circle) such as this:

The advantage of doing so is that you can visit Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to receive teachings and initiations / empowerments / attunements, or even just blessings or healing.

I mean is there any value from going to the astral planes besides curiosity purposes?? You know, that’s exactly what I wanted to know when I started. And a very wise woman (hehe ) gave me this advice:
If you are open to infinite possibilities, and have the desire to help the world, then the way to use it will come to you. If it isn't for you, something else will come to you. The universe has ways of steering you in the right direction, if you're paying attention. And she was right. I have figured out more in the last 2 months than in all my previous years.

Quit questioning, just go do it.

Where does it say that? I have it and don't recall reading that. I do know that you do have to 'observe yourself' as you react, but I don't think that had anything to do with AP.

What is the point of Astral Travelling? That's a very good question. I guess there really is no inherent benefit of doing this. It sure is fun though and opens yourself up to the astral world.
