Default holy beings
So i have had a couple astral meetings with very holy people. This one time i had watched the move da vinci code a week before the astral meeting and i was very interested in Mary Magdalin (whether the movies' theory is correct or not is of no importance to this) . So i did some studying about her.
In the time before i fall asleep and i am awake i find my astral visions the clearest and what happen was a women of this world and alive today defended me against some 'negative energy' (in the astral world of course) and i naturally gushed love toward her. We were about to kiss in a pool hall. Whether the pool hall was where she was in real life when our minds touched or it was an astral place is something i'm not sure of. Just before we kissed a female being appeared in between us. The feeling of holiness shinning from this being was incredible. It was a feeling that would convince even the harshest critic (for a few days any way) that there is such a thing as Heaven. Seconds before i was shocked back to consciousness i heard the name Mary Magdalin.
What i am wondering is if anyone has had encounters with beings of incredible aruas such as this? If your willing to write about it i wonder love to read your story.

I was in a bookstore. I felt a presence. So strongly it suprised me.

I felt it get closer, closer, closer. It was a woman. She had just this incredible strong aura.

Anyway, she grabbed a book off the shelf without looking, then she must have seen what she was looking for and she left.

It was wierd, but it begs the question: What is up with chicks, seriously?

I tend to think that woman become much stronger with Siddhis, although they don't seem to hold large quantities of Chi like us dudes.

Wait, unless they are in martial arts, so i'm going to eat my words.

Yes, but isn't the point of Siddhis to let them go?

You can't let them go, but I think if you stop using them then you'll fall out of practice. Anyway, whats it matter if you have already reached your goal and just want to have some fun?

Goldeneyes,
I had an encounter with Kuan Yin while getting acupunture. I was focusing on my breathing and she just appeared in front of me. She told me I was too hard on myself. I need to look at myself with eyes of compassion, love and patience. She said, "You are doing the best you can and you know that in your heart. Treat yourself as you would a friend in this situation."
She radiated such a beautiful pink light! It filled the whole space surrounding her. The amount of love I felt coming from her is absolutly indescribable! I would call it God Energy, so PURE.

I once saw an angel, though the context was of a personal nature.

Holy beings most certainly do exist, and often bring very important insights and messages.

Thanks for the replies. It's quite hard on my sense of humility to think that i am alone in encoutering greater beings. I feel uncomfortable disscussing my spritualality with the very hard core [removed slur] of this area. Although there is definatly some spritual people here, but, i still don't like talking about my experiences.

Many people believe many different things.

In my experience, it is best to establish some common ground and a little trust before attempting to share personal experiences.

Some people are Spiritual, some are not. Some people are open and accepting, some are not. Some people are just outright jerks - but that's their trip and their Karma - you don't know why it is so, it just is. You can try to help, but also must realize that who they are is really up to them, and it is up to you to make demands on them or choose for yourself and let them go their own way.

Really, to expect everyone to accept my experiences and beliefs, just because I think it is the right thing to do, can be just as impositional as others vehement demands that I give up my beliefs.

At least, that's how I look at it.

I do agree with you, but, in my place in life and i believe the area i live in, it is important to be somewhat similar to the others around me (when in rome...). My deleted statement only refered to the redish colour of most of the inhabitant of this areas' necks. I am fully very easily seen as the same type of person as them, except i have a very deep and private life that they don't know about. I do love and agree with their ideas, lifestyles, and priciples as i am one of them (fully). The only difference is i tried to find places my mind can rome and they didn't. I give only clues of possibilities to them (my good friends and family), but it's not the same. Trust me there is some people that i could open up and talk to in this area, but, that is not something i need or want. My anonymity through internet connections such as this is enough.

There is a lot of hippies in secluded places here on the west coast of Canada that i learned a lot from. So Peace, Love, and Happiness to you.

I find it strange that even spirit guides are so unique. From some people having old chinese dudes following them around and others with spirit animals, tigers and things..

Well, perhaps the guides are as "normal" as we, but we perceive their traits with metaphors and as imagery. *shrugs*

Actaully that may be so, I was reading a book... "Path Notes of an American Ninja Master"..

I think that martial artist that develop chi nearly always seem to gain very perceptive open eyed aura sight.

The author described many types of spirit guides in his book, and he also mentioned that the healthier and greater your energy becomes the more you attract.

It was fun to read about

The perception of auras seems to play a big role in internal martial arts. Aura change seems to occur before action, so action is taken to hide own action with a strong mind, and the opponent's behaviour is predicted by observing and feeling the Qi field.

American Taoist lineage master Bruce Frantzis' most influential teacher was the Chinese Taoist adept Liu Hung Chieh. His teaching method for Taijiquan and Baguachang is related in "The Power of the Internal Martial Arts" like this: Frantzis knew the external moves by rote, so the master taught energy movement and development mostly. He would sit by when the student practised and would move the energies within the student in the same way Frantzis should do himself.

I've been told by a Qigong teacher that regularly frequents Frantzis' teacher training that he was told Chieh could project a sphere of influence about five meters in diameter wide - or was it even radius? Anyone not strongly developed in Qi himself would not have had any chance beating the 80 yo. man of skinny and small stature because of his powerful Qi.

So the abilities of exceptional martial artists can be quite interesting, I agree.

You are not alone in seeing holy beings . Google ; immortals , teaching spirits , mahatma , chohans and light beings . Any human can learn to see these teachers , some have a propensity to do so . In my circle we have seen Mary Magdalene too . She is a teaching spirit who appears in great love . "When the student is ready the teacher will appear "
