Hello.
My names Tj from australia. I would like to explain my OBE and gain some clarification on it, Firstly i dream alot , until last week i cant remember ever having a dream which i awoke to where i was sleeping. 1 - About a week ago i remember lying in bed trying to get some sleep as i was up a little past my usual time i go to bed, and i woke up to my room but there was like a large wall cupboard at the end of my bed. i then looked over at the clock and there was something about the clock so i tried to wake up but couldn't move, i tried to speak and i couldn't it was a total state of paralysis, i then woke up and it hadn't been that long that i was asleep for 2 - About 2 days later i was lying in bed trying to get to sleep and i felt this "warp speed" thing happen with my gut similar to a roller coaster feeling and i said to my self in my mind 'here we go" and i left my body and zoomed basically through the sky diagonally across the road at my neighbors house looking down about 50ft to the ground, i then landed down and knew i could do that with my body so i somehow managed to launch myself and next thing i know i am in bed awake. 3 - Last night i was in bed and i was waiting for my partner to get home from work (night shift) and it was like i was trying to float out of my body without me actually trying, suddenly the whoosh of the stomach like the warp speed i was saying happened but my attempt to float failed and i locked my self into a state of paralysis. i then thought my partner was home but was unable to speak or move, even tho i knew she had her keys to get in, i coudln't do anything. I then woke up and i had only slept for maybe 7 minutes or so. Those are the 3 OBE's that i have had. If anyone could shed some light on what they believe it is, say for instance if its a form of astral projection or any help would be appreciated. Thanks. TJ |

Hello, Tj.
The thing that might have been wrong with the clock might have been a reality fluctuation, where the RTZ and the physical world don't match up. See AD-Pedia as well. Sleep paralysis can be broken in many ways, and trying to move the big toe, concentrating on it or doing energy work on it might help to "snap out of it". Very interesting experiences, I say. thanks for replying.
i checked out AD Pedia i think it will be alot of help to me. i got told that it may be Etheric projection. do you have any idea in regards to the "here we go" and feel like my body gets sucked down past my feet i think or like the warp speed effect what takes me to these. is this something you can learn to control to be able to do it when you want ? when i was flying it seemed like reality but no one was around - i live in a quiet area tho - so is it a subconscious reality or reality. if it happens again ie paralysys what should i do as those 2 times it seemed like i was stuck in paralysis in my bed is there a way to go from there to the etheric or astral plane or is that the etheric plane, if that makes sense. |

Dear projectaero:
I have those paralysis events where the background changes but I'm still paralyzed (not enjoyable)- Robert told me it was an OBE in which I'm still in my body- My consciousness had projected dimensionally but not spatially. I have found (by trial and error) that it happens more in a certain position- so now I avoid it when I try to project. I have the sneaking suspicion that at least one of your 'here we go'-whoosh sensations was you getting 'Astral Wind'ed- out- Someting Robert has mentioned before, but it could just be exit sensations, since I sometimes get the whoosh instead of vibrations also. The only advice about trying to control it is to pay attention- what happens right before, what did you do as practice before that- observe and then if you can pinpoint something in common, try doing it and see if it gives you results. |
