Ok, this post will require answers, fast. It could sound stupid to you guys, but keep in mind, in this incarnation and at this point, I'm a newbie, trying to remember temporairly forgotten skills, help me and I'll help you in return
![]() I have reason to believe I astrally project very often, and that my higher self is very busy during these projections, working a lot with healing energy work, and also (this was told to me by one of the most experienced and acknowledged psychics in my country) conducts a huge astral chorus. I study music in my waking life and I sing in three choruses. She told me my energy vibrates on such a high level, negative influences can't even get close enough to touch me (this was when I asked about psychic vampirism, the advice was just to elevate your vibrations to a level where negs can't reach you). Ok. If this is true, I'm doing pretty important stuff on the Planes. Now look at it like this. If my newbie physical world consciousness starts projecting consciously, wouldn't that mess up the duties of my astral double? Or would I just become automatically aware of my double life and work with it as usual? Or is the psychic talking about my higher self which does stuff remotely from my other self, and thus the two can operate on different frequencies minding their own businesses? I will ask RB this thing too. Thank you, /Hasalameth, Astral Conductor |

I'll use some arbitrary terms here, so bear with me here-(I'll call your I-here= conscious mind, and your 'other self that knows more than you' your astral double for purposes of this):
I don't think that your consciousness can mess up your astral double's consciousness, because you learn what you learn wherever your consciousness is aware of it. The diff is that now you can bring what you are learning in the waking material world for the purpose of changing it more deliberately, as opposed to living unconsciously and creating a material world you are not actively controlling. I believe we are all having 'dreamstate lessons' to coin a phrase Aunt Clair uses, and at some point, if we can meditate/project/lucid dream consciously, we can become aware of what we're learning. Monroe spoke in one of his books about astral projecting to a classroom, where the teacher said something about 'it's about time, we were waiting for you'. When he looked around and said something like: 'I've been here before?' The teacher said (something like) 'You're awake, aren't you?' When he admitted it, he told him he was done in this class, he was ready for the 'next step'. This tells me that whatever you're unconsciously doing, bringing your conscious mind to it is a 'step up' in your evolution, not down. In my case (and I can only speak for myself here) I have had all kinds of manifesting-type lessons, (and other things) when I started consciously projecting. (I've been spontaneously projecting since I was 7 or 8, that I can remember, but I only learned how to exit on purpose about (has it been 2-3 years ago?). I had all kinds of dreamstate lessons that I became aware of only a few years ago when I started keeping a dream diary, and could look back and see the 'school' theme recur again and again. Now when I end up in a classroom I know what it's for, mostly (I still wake up with the memory of having had a lesson but not remembering what exactly I learned). As you can imagine, my waking consciousness is a lot more aware of how I manifest my reality, and as you can imagine, it's gotten much better, because I hardly ever have unconscious reactions and results are, to coin another term 'much improved'. ![]() I guess I'm trying to say 'Don't wory about it, you'll learn what you have to no matter what'. The bonus is you get to know what you're bringing in over here. Of course, most of this is my opinion, based on my experiences. |

I've heard what could be termed 'celestial music', and have felt 'good vibrations', but haven't participated.
There is a book (I think by Mary Sparrowdancer) in which she describes some angel activity as 'singing to God' in the mornings. I'll have to look this up to make sure I'm not telling you the wrong book or author. |
