Default My NDE on April Fool'sDay.....
Well, it finally happened. Listen....Last Sunday @ 11:07AM I let my Katrina the kitty out in our yard and, as I was walking from the kitchen door to the den just five or so steps away was suddenly overcome with a wave of sleepiness that was not unlike being drugged as though by a powerful anesthetic one would experience afore surgery. Overwhelmed with this I succumbed laying down with my last recollection of the clock on 11:07AM. All of a sudden I was @ this very large hospital, bustling with patients(people who were of three calibers;1)people who were waiting in a large waiting room area as in any metropolitan hospital on a very busy day 2)people who were being taken to their respective hospital rooms after they had just been "admitted" and were visibly confused 3) people who were seemingly in a comatose type state/and or catatonic being placed in another "wing " of the hospital. I have been to this "hospital" many times over the last decade and always thought I was there to "work".(I am a nurse in real life) It was just a few years ago that I read of Robert Bruce's having been there which gave me solace and verification for me. There were "dead" people there that I knew in real life; i.e. one fellow who worked with me for many years @ one time - he was no longer a patient there he told me but there to visit me (he was dressed nicely in streetclothes) to help me adjust. It is indeed a hospital for the newly dead who are confused and in shock. It is layed out like a typical hospital with real nurses even wearing their professional caps. However, what I noticed is that there are no IV bags, automatic defibrillators nor any other lifesaving machines for heroic measures in which to revive/resuscitate one. And why would there be? OK, in real life I am pretty adept @ lucid dreaming, have AP'dmany times but this was different. As hard as I tried I could not get back. As prepared as I thought I would be when the time should come of my demise after reading thousands of books and practicing techniques, etc. I was not. I stood in the middle of the hospital foyer @ one point yelling,"Look! I want some answers here-AM I DEAD?!!! There were several who assured me I was and then I was whisked off to a hospital room in which there were three beds, two of which were occupied by two sleeping women-I was put in the third bed next to the wall and fell unconscious. Later I woke up only to see the ceiling with the curved metal runner that serves as the privacy curtain holder. I then jumped out of bed and went running into the foyer again and grabbed a small brunette woman dressed in street clothes asking her how I died. She said I was found dead in my house. My next urgent question was, "Who's got my kitty?" She told me a friend of mine took her. There were more questions from me but the answers only served me and I don't wish to bore whomever is reading this. OK! Just as my panic was starting to subside and I was truly processing all this all of a sudden I heard my name called twice forcefully and sternly, "MYHORAN! MYHORAN!" and.....POP! I was back in my bed jumping up, pinching myself covered with sweat with my heart beating like a triphammer. This was NO DREAM. It was much different than dreams. The "feel" to it while I was in this realm was NOT like a dream. In closing I must tell you that when I came "back" the clock read 11:45AM; in 38' I experienced being away for what seemed like days. I forgot to mention @ the beginning of this epistle that when I woke up on Sunday morning @ 5AM I had the menacing feeling that I was going to "die". Now that I've processed this I think of it as a gift. You see, if I had had the regular conventional NDE(i.e.heart attack, going through the tunnel, out of work for six weeks) I could not have afforded it financially. I do feel different in many ways; my back pain is gone; I am not so angry. I think everyone should have an NDE. The world would be a better place. Kind blessings and peace to all, myhoran

I honestly don't know what to say - it seems an amazing thing to have happen. I have lots of questions about it but I guess the main ones would be... why do you think this happened?
You say you've been to this place before, so was this a different type of experience to them? Could that point to a reason perhaps?
Do you have any idea as to the reason (physical) you would have come close to death?

While I'd be fascinated by the experience, I'm not sure I could deliberately try for an NDE.

Interesting. I've been to a hospital twice now in my projections, but one was in an OBE and the other one in an astral abduction. The similarities here is that both times the hospitals seemed to be designed to psychologically help with some sort of adaptation. I'm glad your experience has brought you some sort of good result. .

A non-conventional NDE-like experience with an eerie feeling of impending doom beforehand and a distorted sense of time throughout?

:O

Great experience! I'm jealous!
