I discovered the means of having vibrations in all the body in 5 minutes. But attention that can be very dangerous and bring a physical accident to you.
I lie on my armchair. With the nose, I inhale with the belly into 1 second close the spine and I exhale with the belly into 1 second. I do that during 5 minutes. At the fourth minute I have nausea. At the fifth minutes vibrations. |

-> Tom,
So are you breathing in for one second and out for one second, using the muscles of your stomach to pull the air in and push the air out? And what do you mean by closing the spine? The inhale do like a hole in my stomac touching the spine. (But do not exagerate, I am a little pot-bellied!! I must do exercice) |

Be very cautious doing this - it is called Hyperventilation & has associated dangers.
Provided you rest after it & don't try physical activity & remember to breathe regularly, most people can try this, but by super-oxygenating the blood (&/or removing CO2 from it) your brain loses the breathing cues & forgets to breathe normally for some time & may not start again before CO2 builds to the point where you faint. I'd say, don't be standing or in a position where you can fall, don't plan on physical stuff for at least 30 minutes after, & stop immediately if you feel pain. Also, remember that too much oxygen can make you feel drunk & light-headed. Normally that is only for pure O2 but if you're going to hyperventilate, be aware of the possibility. |

Well, going with this idea... I have a new method to induce vibrations. Within 30 seconds!!!
Lay down and get very comfortable. Now.. slit your wrists. Make sure the cuts go veeery deep. Vibrations will follow. But be cautious.. a physical accident may occur. WE KNOW HE IS JUST KIDDING, BUT I FELT IT HAD TO BE SAID! HE IS JUST KIDDING!- CF, Moderator |

-> CFTraveler,
I agree this is very foolish. At fourth minutes your sensation of the air when you inhale change. Then one minute after stops and you have the vibrations. Only 4 minutes ... -> journyman161, Provided you rest after it & don't try physical activity & remember to breathe regularly, most people can try this, but by super-oxygenating the blood (&/or removing CO2 from it) your brain loses the breathing cues & forgets to breathe normally for some time & may not start again before CO2 builds to the point where you faint. It seems matter of blood, but how can you explain the vibrations. Are the cells, anything else? |

I don't explain them; I said nothing about the vibrations & for all I know the method is a valid one. Certainly I've heard stories of yogi's & other mystics using the technique.
I am just warning those who wish to try it to be careful. Outofbodydude has a point - there has always been a surefire exit technique, just you don't tend to live through it. Caution in the practice & monitor yourself as you do it. Also don't do it too often; that can do damage to things internal. |

Personally, I wouldn't promote this as a way to have vibrations or out of body experiences. Sounds like the "fainting game" we used to play as kids. Not going to give the specifics of what we did, as it can be very, very dangerous. Just this year, I read a major magazine article where this is poplular again and children and teens have died from it. Seems like it was on a talk show, too.
Anyway, if you are nuts enough to try it, make sure you have a small paper bag by you and a person who has a brain and can call 911. With hyperventilation, you need to breath in CO 2. If you become overly dizzy, breathe into the paper bag until you feel better. I still think you are nuts if you try it. As stated before, can bring on a permanent OBE. And, wouldn't your family be sad to find you that way? |

If you find that you are starting to get dizzy when you do a yogic breathing pattern, you are supposed to slow down or stop completely for that session. If it starts to hurt in any way, you are supposed to stop doing it at least for that session. By building up gradually, you give your body a chance to adjust to what you are doing and you avoid the diziness even with very rapid breathing patterns. I also point out that breathing patterns are the main reason for learning yoga under the guidance of an experienced teacher.

AM wrote: Do this prove the existence of the energetic body? A lot of us feel vibrations & hypnagogia on the verge of an OBE exit- it just comes with the territory, so bringing them up via hyperventilation is just a way to induce them-for some; but I fail to see what this has to do with proving the existence of an energetic body. Could you please explain what your reasoning is with this?

-> Tempestinateapot,
Personally, I wouldn't promote this as a way to have vibrations or out of body experiences I don't make the promotion of anything method here, just giving my experience. I decline your affirmation. (Sorry I am obliged to speak like that!) -> CFTraveler, Before I would like to know what exactly are the vibrations. I tested some during an non induce OBE. Who vibrates? Who make vibrations? When vibrations begin? |

The technique is safe as presented and will not result in death. It is milder than some of the breathing patterns taught in Yoga to complete beginners. Anyone who can't do it for 5 minutes is just out of shape, and even for people who are out of shape it is not harmful to try. Uncomfortable, maybe, but if it is uncomfortable then try lengthening the inhalations and exhalations to 2 or 3 seconds instead of only 1.

When I discovered vibrations it was when I was doing the exercice of Kundalini Yoga. Lotus posture and Gyan mudra for the hand.
Today I try again the fire breathing. Pulling the stomac near the spine when inhaling in 1 second. Pushing the stomac when exhaling in 1 second. The vibrations comes in my hands after 3 minutes. In order to have a proof of the dimensional bodies I place my hand in a basin full of water. Theoritically I should have waves but nothing appears. Sure I must do it again to confirm that. ![]() |
