Hello All, I think I have had 6 OBE's sofar over the past year. The first one was after listening to Robert Bruce on the Art Bell show last year. I had attempted OBE's before this years earlier but to no avail. I always have some sort of buzzing experience before projecting, either from a dream, or from a brief blackout experience. I have some questions concerning my experiences /travels. They are all rather brief, only 30 seconds to about 2 minutes MAX. This is discouraging in itself, for the experience is one of trying to run down the street or staring at a tree for a while. I don't really think it's a dream because of the buzzing, and because I am fully aware that I am "out" if that makes any sense. But it's always my block, the surrounding houses, and I crawl off my bed and crawl right out my window most of the time. I have seen my dogs out on the front lawn, other than that never bumped into any entities, or people. Everything is either very grey and dark, or hard to see. I ask to have my sight improved, and it actually does. But most recently I snapped my head around to look at something and realized I instantly killed my OBE. I thought it rather funny that if I looked or moved my sight quickly that I would be hurtled back to my body. My question is this, how can I last longer out there? Is it my general health that is preventing me from having a longer experience? And what are some things I can do to prevent getting sucked back so quickly?

Hi,
Are you doing energy-raising work? I have read that one must build up an excess of energy in the physical body first to project successfully. Perhaps this is the problem? A bunch of us are working through Robert Bruce's MAP workbook if you want to join in... http://forums.astraldynamics.com/viewtopic.php?t=4310 |

Keep it up- 6 OBEs in a year are not bad, even if short. |

Antoll, I have been trying for the last year solidly, so 6 out of 180 days of the year isn't much. What usually ends up happening is that I just fall asleep. Not to mention at least 8 - 9 years ago I tried solidly for a year. I think the biggest thing that helped me was some of the visualization techniques that Robert mentions, about body awareness.
I'm not a very healthy person, I eat too much, drink too much, don't get enough exercise. And no I haven't done any energy work. I have Astral Dynamics, but haven't gotten too far into it. I am sure if I change my habits and start exercising it would help. But I was looking for an easy answer I guess. As far as disturbances there are none, ocasionally the dogs bark if like an acorn hits the roof and bounces on the driveway, but other than that nothing. I have an analogy to decribe getting snapped back by looking or shifting my sight. Imagine driving a really top heavy, or high center of gravity suv or something about 80 miles an hour in a straight line, now jerk the wheel suddenly to one side, boom. When I twist my head too fast I seem to return. Or in that one instance anyways. I appreciate your replies all. Thank you for the advice. |

-> dave thomas,
Get Back in Shape You’re in your fifties. You are fat and you feel stiff in the mornings. You’ve tried swimming, gym clubs, jogging, but nothing changes. Since you are tired of having to go to the club, you get dressed and undressed several times, take a shower and many other things. If you want to be once again as fit as you were in your 20’s, there exists a simple way which costs nothing. I’ve tried it myself by the way. Once per week, go for a long nature walk of 8 to 20 km. Walk casually wearing shoes with thin soles so that your feet have a good contact with the ground. Never stop walking. After several weeks you will regain the body and fitness of your youth. Don’t forget to take a litre of water with you. Extraction from my site. |
