I have had about 4 very successful and thrilling out-of-body experiences during sleep over the past year. I seem to become lucid while I separate from my body and I don't use any technique; the process is automatic, I just drift out of sinc with my body and I'm free. Very easy and effortless. I try to have conscious OBEs at different times of the day. Morning after waking up, afternoon naps, before bed. I usually get the vibrations but nothing like the experiences I get during sleep. I would love to have conscious OBEs, so please offer advice on how I can achieve this. Much appreciated. |

From RB's Treatise: "Note: You can project consciously, and have a real time OOBE if enough etheric matter is generated by the chakras. In an OOBE, reality is perceived as objective (real) and time is normal (real time). "

Yes, I did several months of energy work with Bruce's NEW method and the accompanying book Mastering Astral Projection. It was very frustrating as I didn't get very far. I had already felt the vibrations, that only lasted a few seconds at a time, prior to my practice of the NEW technique.
What puzzles me is that my projections at night while sleeping are so effortless and without any form of technique whatsoever. I don't climb a rope or concentrate on energy or anything yet they are successful. My thinking is that if I simply relax while trying a conscious OBE and allow the natural energy to build, it will happen. While sleeping, and lucid, I truly feel a build up of energy, yet I'm doing nothing to make it happen. I come to the conclusion that my energy matrix is ready and capable of having a successful OBE and that for a conscious one I must relax deeply and enter the hypnogogic state and then do as I do in sleep and let the energy build and I'll project. Any futher thoughts, ideas, suggestions? |

Well, I've been doing something lately called "meditation to increase hypnagogia' in the energy(?) section {have to check} and I have found that it gets me to that state quicker than anything before. Try it and tell me what results you get. Another thing is getting up early in tha am and taking advantage to the body's natural cycles to get the OBE while awake but just barely. I'll try to find the link for you while you read this.
