Wow, I'm still sort of in awe at what happened this morning because I wasn't expecting it. I was napping with a timer going off every so often (rhythm napping) for my 2nd time. After doing this for about 30-40 minutes I became alert without the timer, and my eyes opened. My field of vision was nothing at all like I've ever seen. My left side and eye was normal, but my right side was looking in a completely different direction than the other. That is to say, it was like having my right eye higher up on my head and it was looking off to the right while my left eye was looking straight. Also, it was like looking through a short tunnel leading to my eye, as if my right eye had sunk back in my head. I could blink both eyes at the same time and I just sat there thinking about it for a few seconds. Once my mind was alert enough to realize this wasn't normal I finally figured I must be partially out of my body. Without doing anything I suddenly felt the upper half of my body begin to float up and out, but I think either my timer went off or I just got too excited because I snapped back in a few moments later and sat up. I think the strangest part to me is how natural it felt! I didn't have any vibrations, weird noises, or anything like that.. but I know that I was leaving my body for sure. The feeling of floating up was really interesting, and it was very peaceful and smooth.

Congratulations, on a semi-realtime obe.
I had a similar experience when I woke up in the morning and was a night i had alot of dreams like about 10 and decided since it was my day off to go back to sleep i looked around the room for the clock and it was 6am rolled over and went back to sleep started dreaming of a friend that i know and everything went black and i realized i was in my room. I figured i woke up again so i rolled over and rolled out of my body all except for my waist and legs. I could see it was only 10min after i rolled over and was extremely excited that I was somewhat outta my body, the only thing I sensed was the whole room and a weird feeling appendage on the back of my head that i figure is the silver cord everyone talks about but I was prepared and told myself to wake up now using the Ultra-short first obe thing, so i could remember. Was a extremely cool experience. Of course it was an accident but it gives us something to shoot for. |
