Cool

I for one have never ever experienced the vibrations.... I tend to just "fall in" as you described and find myself 'in my mind' with my body asleep.

Foreiner-well first off not everyone gets vibrations, in fact I have only got them once and it was due to my mind creating them in the hypnogogic state.. You cannot say that the vibrations are a self created phenomenon. I have had the vibratioins many times and you can't tell me that they didn't happen. It's a physical sensation just like vomiting is a physical sensation.

But besides that congrats to UnnamedGuy. I had a woman meet with me on my first exit also. It's a good feeling.
How old are you by the way?

hi there, well Ive been doing this for more than ten years now and to be honest I just know when to exit, and I also know when an obe is coming on in waking life..that is when I lay down and it just comes..lol now most people are envious of this, but it can be difficult for me to fully launch out of my body since I leave in a differant way than most people..in fact I think we all experience obe's differantly..but mostly what happens to myself is I can feel my innerself, inner awarness shifting, and I can control it,..its rather hard to explain..but it is taking over the subconscious mind that allows me to do this..the body has nothing to do with obes, I think many people do not realize this either..its all about your awareness, and the more you are aware within yourself, the more control /power you will have..
I think I have discovered quite a few things with obes and the body, the body is only a tool..once we get past the knowing of this, we can detach at will..but also it is knowing yourself that allows this freedom of the body, the body is there to keep you to this physical world.the more you work with your awareness/moving it enhancing it the more detached from all physical sensations you will become, and therefore vibrations are obsolete, however some people create the hallucination of vibrations to help them with their exit, but often times people do not fully detach from the body, because it is the very vibrations that hold them back and keep them in there bodies/attached to their bodies..
does this make sense??
well like I said everyone is differant,..I have never read an obe book prior to my first obe, it just came to me, it just happend, and it happend because I was doing dream work/study..and also knowing my inner self so well..

yea i've been trying to do dreamwork but I don't have the best recall. ANd yes right before the vibrations faded(which was when i felt like i had been back in my body and couldn't really move anymore)it felt as if my body was moving or my center of conciousness was moving as if it were still in my physical body, got maybe halfway rolled over(and the bottom half of me floating up a bit, maybe half a foot or so)before it ended.

AS for the vibrations not needed how can you tell when you can leave? I've experimented many times before trying to float up or roll over but i just end up moving physical parts which brings me back and sort of defeats the purpose.

well first off not everyone gets vibrations, in fact I have only got them once and it was due to my mind creating them in the hypnogogic state..however since everyone is reading about them, they are creating them to happen on there own, which is great..
I wanted to ask you if you were aware of your consciousness, and if you felt it shifting at all???
this is where you can take full control and detach from the body, when you are aware of your own power over the subconscious you can easily dictate your mind to outside the body..
well good luck and iM sure you are off to a great start..sometimes we must let them come on there own..
I also recommend dreamwork, because the key to full blown obes is takinng over your entire awareness/conscousness..and moving it, relocating it to outside the body, while most ap/s (astral projections are in fact lucid dreams since they are inside your mind..however you are still relocating your consciousness but it is in the inner realms of consciousness not outside...as in obe's are..
does this make sense to you?
this is what I have came to realize on my own and by my own experiences.

Default I did it!!! (almost)
OK so i was woken up early today by my mom having the cleaning lady come and i was kicked out of my room. She was nice enough though to let me lay in her bed, which faces a different direction(i was never sure if the head to the north thing was true but if it is it perhaps her bed was facing north and mine wasn't). I did about 45 minutes of my regular meditation(kundalini tape, though i dont do any specific kundalini practices) and rolled over onto my right side putting on sound of the 7 chakra's, but focusing more on just wanting to get some sleep.

10-15 minutes pass when i feel wierd, my first responce is im sick and as my stomach feels like its emptying and I wonder if i need to throw up. This passes very quickly as I realize it is the vibrations, and at that realization it comes full on throughout my entire being. I give in and sort of "Fall into" it(best description i can give) and it is much more intense then any of the feeble tinglings and itches i've previously thought were the vibrations. These were violent, full on, bone deep and very very intense, just as I had read.

But i kept my cool, stayed thoughtless and just let them do thier thing, focusing my thought on nothing and my vision strait ahead, actually having the room come into 100% crystal clear clarity as if my eyes were open. I began to see chairs of different sizes and colors form and appear, one after the other in the same spot, and I sort of realized(Without thought but by intent only) that i may be moving towards a dream which i didn't want, so I came back to the darkness, after i saw a woman appear and say(through non verbal communication, though her mouth may have moved)that she was waiting for me.

At this point the vibrations faded as it got harder(or at least harder to perceive myself as doing it)to breath, but i concentrated and made myself breath full and relaxed, keeping my thoughts out and focused on nothing and they came right back, just as intense(if not moreso) then before. I fely my arm almost falling off of the bed, which concerned me as I didn't want to come out of it(i didn't realize my arm was securly on the bed not really noticing what position i had taken when i rolled over) and thought about how nice it would be too float(i really wanted to get out of the body even though it was the first time this had happened, maybe was trying for too much too soon). Soon after that my lower half of my body seemingly floated up a bit, though still close(if not fully attatched) to my body.

I then realized that my arm may have been coming out of my physical arm, and i was amazed at this as i really felt as if my physical arm was moving and falling off of the bed. At this realization i tried rolling over, and could feel myself starting to roll over as if i actually was, going to the edge of the bed, though there was a noise or something(i dont remember hearing it, it may have just been the 5 or so minutes passing of the vibrations as what i've read thats how long they generally last)but the vibrations were gone, and i was back in my body bewildered still in a very calm state but feeling as if i had just come out of a dream. This came with it the fear that the memories would fade quickly, but as you can see they didn't.

I tried my best to get the vibrations to come back, but my excitment and thoughts couldn't be subdued this time, so I got up(luckily just in time to be able to come back in my room and write this up)and wrote this up, which I will post here and copy into my journal. I am still excited and energetic even though i only got maybe 4-5 hours of sleep total last night(unless u count the 5-10 minutes of vibration as sleep), still feeling somewhat detached and numb, and will probably lay back down for another 30-60 minutes of meditation after eating something to see if they return, though I wonder if i'll have trouble getting them laying back in my bed in the different direction.(i hope now that i have gotten them fully that they will be easier to bring back though.)

Yaaay!!!
