Well, I've long since learned that the length your astral experiences can be largely and even entirely based on the amount of "astral energy" you have, just like how you can't project to the mental for very long or even at all without mental energy.
So, with my limited success, I've snapped and am wondering if there is any way I can lengthen these experiences? I'm getting a little sick of tumbling out of my body, swimming through my room in RTP for less than thrity seconds, accidentally starting to fall through a floor or wall or something, and then ending. It's the same way for lucid dreams. The second I become conscious, some five second timer seems to go off and then bangs, it's done. So the real point is: Is there a way to boost the natural projection of astral energy, or at least make it last longer than my goldfish's lifespan (hehe)? |

Sungazing sounds...insane.
In both ways. Awesome yet crazy. Have you two actually done it and not hurt your eyes? And mind you, after 44 minutes the sun will be much more than rising, and thus much more intense...And your eyes still don't hurt?! Sorry if I'm skeptical, not wanting to lose my eyesight at thirteen and having to rely on my second sight, which is horrible. I keep miscalculating my mindseye... |

I would strongly suggest using NEW. It seems to help develop the energy body pretty quickly. Also, if you don't want to do that you could try sungazing for energy. Or having a chakra cleansing, you could probabally find where to get those at a metaphysical store. Also just physical exercise will help to increase your internal energies.

Yeah, star. The point was how to raise that extra energy.
Sungazing sounds interesting to me too. Walking thru my city to get to a good place to watch doesn't as much, or at least while I still have no proof of not going blind. Once proven, I'll probably drag some mulch up on my roof every morning. No more food... |

I got my closest to projecting through a meditation session where I just attempted to bring in energy for 30 odd minutes or so.
So I would very much assume that the amount of energy in your body affects your lenght and ability to project. [Edit]- Wow, so I just read through sungazing, thats rather neat. I think I mihgt give it a try but I would have to see when exactly the sun is at a point where I won't go blind looking at it, heh. |
