I leave you kids alone for 2 days, and I come home to this?? Can't you play nicely?
Just wait till your father gets home.

Honestly. we should have a "pissing match zone" ( no green intended), for those who want to get into it.

what thread?

Cookie Parker started a thread about DDog which inevitably turned into a flame war.

I agree. Cookie Parker is responsible for the entire incident. Without the flame bait thread, none of it would have happened.

It also spilled over into another thread - it's understandable about the banning as the comments, had they been exchanged face to face in the real world would of seen a donny brook....

well. there is enough blame to go around. COOKIE baited the hook, but the other too didn't have to take the bait.

Fucking thread is a collosal disater. The behaviors aren't any better.

I think management is trying to send a message: if you're bored, or want to fight over NOTHING, go kick your dog, and cool it with the pissing matches.

I do NOT WANT AN OVRMODERATED BOARD, i mean damn near anything should be OK - but if you go against the TOS - you put yourself at risk.

Those two can't help themselves with each other... personally, I wouldn't have banned either of them, but it's not my board.

Cookie called out Dog for spamming the board all day with unfounded claims.

He was trying to bury the Empirica thread, where Minty was exposed for the liar that we know her to be.

Cookie merely challenged Dog to offer something other than his flawed opinion to support his claims.

Moby closed another thread that had no basis for using a member's name.

He didn't close that one. Dog couldn't back any of his bullshit assertions, so he chose to bait everyone instead.

Looks like K took the bait.

Meanwhile, Dog still hasn't offered anything of value on this board in the several thousand posts he's made.

BTW...just before Cotton was chased from the board, he/Psychoblues turned the Blog forum into a shitfest area. They could've gone there to flame each other

So what have we learned from this?

Seems we've learned that when conservatives can't back their years of brainwashed whisper campaign lying they bait idiots to flame with them.

And regardless of party there are always those that let their ID dominate & feed right into the only thing conservatives know how to do, get in cock fights.

Nothing new for me. That was a daily occurrence at AWE.
Now GET OFF MY LAWN!

The juvenile antics of many DCJ members remind me more of what we would likely find at an unsupervised children's playground rather than a moderated political forum, suggesting the bans may have been a wise decision.

For many, the general strategy for disagreement appears to be mindless attacks of vulgarity, personal insults and a strange obsession with "sock puppet" accusations in an attempt to "shout the opposition down".

Not surprisingly, those most guilty of this childish form of debate seem to be predominately of one general political persuasion__Maybe it's time you abandon those radical hot-blooded tactics you learned at academia.

Normally I do not agree with silencing the opinions of others by means of administrative power, but admit that it may sometimes be necessary as a reminder to all of us to debate our issues in a civilized manner.

Hey cotton, I was just wondering how far you take these aliases? Do you require the method approach to properly get into character by actually dressing up in the school girl nerd outfit before logging in as this person, or do you prefer a more spontaneous improvisational approach?

I love the way "she" associates liberals with academia. No one will ever accuse wingnuts of having too much education....

Good question...kinda like James "Buffalo Bill" Gumb from "Silence of the Lambs."

cotton's probably kidnapped some random passerby homely temp office worker and tossed her into a hole in the basement in Arkansas, probably why he'd made that 'Sparky the Dog' sockpuppet as well - just sitting there, putting on lipstick and mascara, muttering to himself nasty shit...
