With Week 1 over with, and most of the FBS vs. FCS games taken care of, we now move into actual football for a lot of teams. We had some big games last week with Boise beating VaTech, Fresno taking down Cincy, and TCU downing Oregon State... and who could forget Ole Miss losing to Jacksonville State
![]() This week should be a lot more interesting though, as some teams are starting their conference play, and there are some pretty big non-conference games as well. Here are the top games for this week as I see them... Tonight No. 21 Auburn at Mississippi State I'm not really sure what to expect from this game... Auburn's defense looked woefully uninspired last week, and MSU's offense looked really good. On the flipside, Auburn's offense looked great last week, but so did MSU's defense. Saturday No. 22 Georgia at No. 24 South Carolina South Florida at No. 8 Florida No. 17 Florida State at No. 10 Oklahoma No. 12 Miami (FL) at No. 2 Ohio State No. 18 Penn State at No. 1 Alabama No. 25 Stanford at UCLA the rest of the Top 25 No. 23 West Virginia at Marshall (Friday) San Jose State at No. 11 Wisconsin No. 15 Georgia Tech at Kansas Idaho at No. 6 Nebraska James Madison at No. 13 Virginia Tech Iowa State at No. 9 Iowa UNLV at No. 20 Utah Tennessee Tech at No. 4 TCU Wyoming at No. 5 Texas No. 7 Oregon at Tennessee No. 14 Arkansas vs. Louisiana-Monroe No. 19 LSU at Vanderbilt Virginia at No. 16 USC Since my Bulldogs aren't playing this week, I'll leave you with this video... Bearcat fans are a classy bunch. I'll definitely be rooting for them to win out the rest of their season (and not just because it helps us ![]() |

I figure tonight will be a good game. Probably close and high scoring. Well, high scoring for these two. I remember a few years back I watched these two and it had to be the most boring game ever. Think the final was 6-3 or something. My Noles head out to Norman on Saturday. Surely will be a test. I hope we can prevail and get a little payback for them beating us in 2001 for the national championship. This game will let people know if FSU is back or if we still need a few recruiting classes. GO NOLES!!!!!!!!!

What a day so far...
VaTech loses to James Madison GaTech loses to Kansas, who lost to North Dakota State last week South Dakota beats Minnesota What happens if 'Bama and Ohio State lose to Penn State and Miami respectively? Boise's win last week is diminished due to the VaTech loss. TCU is playing this week, but against Tennessee Tech. Texas is playing Wyoming, and Florida looked horrible in the first half against USF, and really won that game due to USF mistakes more than anything. |
