There usually is an upset. I am sure as hell hoping it is not the Wings.

Their defense sucks this year. They have won too many games after being down by 2 goals and that is not a typical thing to happen in the playoffs.

Go hockey. This is a great time for sports.

the resurgence of the Bruins is great..but it seems like the newbies are just that..newbies...makes a die-hard (like myself) out on the lurch when those who can afford the playoff tickets go and they aren't even fans!!!!

but...GOBRUINS!!!!

I had a friend whose father had season tickets to the Wings back in the 70's when the Wings sucked. Nobody wanted tickets so we went to a lot of games at the old Olympia. Which was an incredible place to see the game as long as you were not in the upper deck. Tickets were easy to get and nobody wanted to go. But back in the 60's one could never get a ticket. So I know what you mean about the fans. The bad part is now in the playoffs only the suits go to the game. Corporate control of sports has ruined that along with the way TV. If you go to a game it sucks now. The flow of the game is screwed up

I was watching a few minutes of the hockey game tonite. No offense but those jerseys the Bruins are wearing are horrid looking. Not much better than the one with the Bear on the front. Bring back the classic from the Orr days

oh, and the Habs just scored

PJ, in Detroit we wear the red at home. The red was traditionally the home jersey. But they made it the away jersey for about 20 years. Now we are back to it being the home jersey. Typical NHL bull shit stuff.
