Default Kim Clijsters moves on to US open finals.
I really don't follow tennis very closely, if really at all, except when one of the player's personal stories is interesting.

Kim Cliljsters has been makiing a come back, of sorts, after having taken time off to have a child. She is unseeded but managed the unlikely task of taking on and beating both Williams sisters to make it to the open.

If she wins, she will be the first mother to win a major since 1980 when Evonne Goolagong Cawley won at Wimbledon.

You go Kim!

Yeah, good on her for winning! That Williams girl really pisses me off. How dare she get punished for telling a lineswoman "I swear to God I'm fucking going to take this fucking ball and shove it down your fucking throat"? Love how the 27 year old excused herself afterwards by saying she is still young and learning.

Yeah, that was a spoiler for Clijsters. Her earned her victory fairly by outplaying Williams. It's a shame it had to end that way.

I agree with you again
And I with you.

I'm glad of her comeback and win for one thing - it inspired Justine Henin to announce a comeback today. I enjoyed her style of tennis.
