Favourite/Least Fave Events
 

Give me your top few events that you like to watch. And your least favourite bunch. Don't specify by gender or pick one because of a certain athlete. Also, for example for sports like speed skating, you can specify if you like short or long track, but don't need to specify distance.

Skiing/Snowboarding (any slalom) where there's a ton of gates to cut around?

I don't mind curling, but its too slow to sit and watch an entire game.

Hockey and Curling are the only ones I rly pay attn to.

Everything else is kind of lame.

I like the Summer Olympics better as a whole, imo.

First off, the Winter Olympics blows away the Summer Games in terms of events that are exciting to watch and dangerous for the athlete.

Favorites are anything downhill in terms of skiing, anything on the slider course, hockey, half pipe and aerials, and curling (just for the chess match in always ends up to be).

Dont care for any cross country skiing, its like a marathon on skis. Wont watch any mens figure skating. Speed skating (long track) doesnt do much for me, either.

I'm not sure why this would be surprising.

I find curling to be boring. Its just not my thing I suppose.

The Winter Olympics has much more action than the Summer Olympics.

I don't care for the luge or bobsledding, but if its on, I'll just leave it on.

I've been trying to watch as much hockey as possible, and I enjoy seeing many of the other sports.

Just not curling.

I don't watch people shoot pool or bowling on TV either.

Not my thing.

I pretty much like all of the events. I could do without women's hockey.

Not a big fan of figure skating, men's or women's

I had a thing for Tara Lipinski back in her days of skating..kept me interested in women's figure skating from then on.


Watching men skate in tight outfits and Johnny Weir is just a bit disturbing...

For you it was Lipinski, for me it was Katarina Witt in Calgary in 1988.
