I think it is live to the most part. I think Vancouver is in the Pacific time zone so this isn't like the Beijing Olympics or anything like that.

5000m takes a while.

Mariscano for the US is dominating it looks like.

Last night's ceremony wasn't 'Live'.

I got it three hours after folks back East saw it.

A portion of the games today are 'Live', but then they revert back to tape delayed tonight for the other stuff.

Haha, I was thinking I saw headlines from the 5000m from this afternoon.

NBC sucks balls man. I just saw an article about this last night on how they weren't going to show anything live.

the ski jump wasn't quite live, though not as bad as the 3 minutes they gave to the biathalon later on that was far from live. of course i can see why you would try and have some delay as to not make it too boring, though the commercials every 40 seconds doesn't help much.

NBC had in the past utilized its other channels for Olympics coverage (CNBC and MSNBC).

Right now, MSNBC is showing Family Ties (a news show, not the old sitcom) and CNBC has 'Paid Programming'.

Great use of those channels for possible *live* Olympics coverage.

They've used CNBC for womens hockey at least.

At 4:30PM PST i'll get to see it.

...then i get to see a bio on Harlan Sanders (KFC) if i keep it on that channel then a repeat of 'American Greed'.

If anybody wants to forward today's Lotto numbers so i can have three hours to go buy tix that would be much appreciated.

Yeah, its been a little frustrating. Yesterday I watched the mens ski jump qualifying at a friends house under the impression it was live and they announced that the finals would be on later that day. Tens minutes later driving to my house I heard the results of the final on the radio. lol

If you guys aren't watching live for the medal round of the 3000m I'll keep to myself. I can't see NBC not going live for the medal round though.
