Default Ice Hockey Thread
So Ice Hockey starts today and I am excited about it. 2002 was some of the best hockey I have ever seen. I even skipped classes so that I could watch the games. USA vs Latvia today

ANybody know what time or times that game will be shown?

On the official Olympics site it says 9:05 PM start time. Is that Eastern time or what is that? Anyone?

Well that's pretty stupid. I dont understand all of those times in the official Olympic website then. I was all excited that the games were going to be in the evening so people who work during the day could actually watch them. Will they replay the games or just accept the crappy ratings they'll receive as a result?

Those are italy times. If you want the local times, go here and it'll give you the TV schedule: http://www.nbcolympics.com/tv/index.html

Why in the hell would they put the Italy times on the website? That doesn't really make much sense. Well I guess I won't be able to watch any of the games then haha. I get all excited and they show crap in the afternoons. Smart

Supposedly the ice is complete shit, because it's already been mentioned as a big complaint from both teams.

Um, they are. It's on right now on MSNBC. They're not going to suit the games to US time zones considering the viewership was so bad even when it was in the US.

I think he means when most people are able to watch them. Us working people don't have TV's near by to watch.

Once again, this is the Olympics, not the NHL playoffs. They can't just accomodate us.

I know. I agree 100% with you.

Do you know if they are going to replay the US game tonight?
