Espada74, what have I ever done to you? You seem to be very anti me for some reason. I doubt you know the half of what has happened to me in my fencing career, positive or negative.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I was referring to the source of the article not you, if my post sounded like I was referring to you then I apologise, it wasn't.

What I don't think is fair is the people who make the calls, select the teams, dictate the tactics etc seem to get a much easier ride or have a PR machine to side step things.

I'm an advocate of more responsibility, more accountability.

..and to this I would add COMPLETE transparency....

Frankly I think some very big lights need to be shone onto the decisions and processes which have been followed in so many areas at BF. The timing is not right now BUT it very soon will be.

If systems and processes are robust and fair what is there to be hidden or secret? It is our athletes, our children, the contributors and volunteers that represent the backbone of our sport who have been failed by the systems in place.

The review that must follow should be brutal and open. Only once we openly admit the extent of what is wrong can we repair it.
