So theres this dog that lives on our street... Idk if he's a stray or if he belongs to somebody. Hes SO FILTHY. You can tell he's cute as a button but he always has "dirty pants" lol... Its bizzare, just his lower half is matted and crusted with dirt, and his top half is not matted and slightly cleaner.

Anyways, I hesitate to pet him since hes filthy and has bugs but I always say hello to him and give him a smile or a pat on the head (I imagine he doesnt get that very much).

Well I guess he likes me for that small bit of attention because today Im sitting outside and a creepy drunk guy walks by and tells me "good evening" (at 11am, mind you) and this little mutt comes charging out of nowhere and barks at this guy til he leaves! I said "enough" and he comes trotting over to me all proud hahaha. Thanks, little guy. Now he's laying by my feet... I wish I could clean him up but hes so matted on his "pants" that I wouldnt even know where to begin! I call him "Teddy bear" cuz he has a cute little teddy bear face.

Looks like some sort of poodle mix. I bet he would be so adorable all cleaned up. Why not try to find his owners and if he doesn't have any take him in and clean him up and maybe find him a good home?

Sam him greet eachother through the gate, and seem to be "gate buddies" lol. Hes VERY sweet... Its hard to just "take" him since here in MX there are many street dogs that may or may not belong to anybody. I gave hin some kibble and he happily ate half of it, so I dont think hes starving.

I dont have a shaver to groom him but Im seriously tempted to at least bathe him. I can.literally spot ticks crawling through his fur Ugh I haaaaaate picking ticks off!! But this little guy totally deserves a nice bath.... Hmmmm. He's still laying by me right now hehe
