Default Finding a PAIR of strays
Not very often I come across a pair of stray dogs, it's usually solo males out here. But today as I pulled in my driveway there was an unaltered male and an in-heat female hanging around my yard. I used my phone to put an ad on craigslist as I sat in my car. Dogs didn't seem overly aggressively, played with each other, and would come to my car door to sniff me. The male was wearing a harness and chewed leash. The animal shelter is closed today so I decided to tie them up and call to have them picked up.

I tied the male first, since he had a leash on. Everything was cool until then. He really wanted his lady friend back. He was barking a lot while I tied her up, and so I waved my hand at him and went "shoosh!" Man, glad her was already tied up and I was a foot away because he actually lunged at my hand. Hmph. Well, my concern for the dog flew out the window and I was tempted to just untie him and let them go, but god forbid they hurt anyone...So I called AC and lady said they'd have an officer out between "a few hours" and "a couple days". Jesus. If they aren't picked up by the time I have work at 530, well...I'm not sure but I don't want them here. My dogs are priority and they need their yard, which these two strays are currently kenneled in. Secretly hope they escape my yard.

& now i know why male/female stray combos can be so dangerous.

Here is a vid of how the male reacts when I lift my hand:
