Default Appreciate the advice but Im getting a 2nd one afterall..
After much debate back and forth and while i respect 100% everyones advice here i am going to get a 2nd pit after all.. I have a 7mo Female and im going to get a male from Caragan's now. Not to breed but for pets and ill fix them both. I spent over an hour on the phone with Cheryl yesterday and she took the time to discuss all the questions i had and then some and i could get the sense she was not trying to sell me a dog by any means.. The convo ended without discussing pricing, if i wanted one, if i wanted to a put deposit, and we left off with just a simple " ill think about it ". Im a good judge of character and i felt everything she told me was unbiased and very honest as she shared some of her 30+ years of breeding experience. Below is the video of the little guys.. Im liking the one with the tiny white stripe in 2 places.. What is your opinion on them??

The one you want is adorable! Too cute and I'm totally jealous.

Cute pups. Just remember you are making a lifetime commitment to this pup as well and just remember its going to be overwhelming for awhile until you all adapt.

My advice, set a strict routine immedietely and stick to it no matter what. That will make things run so much smoother

I think you should wait til they mature a little and discuss their personalities before you choose one. That dog, might not be the one for you. Cheryl is really good about talking to you about this too. She helped us choose the right pup for our family based on personality/temperment and what our plans were for the dog. I just got a female from her 2 weeks ago and couldnt be happier.

I have had 3 dogs in my life and we endured the good and the bad for 13 years.. i had a pit who could not be around my 2 boxers and had my house separated so i know what its all about should it come to that.. I work about 6 hours a day 5 days a week and they can come with me to work together should they get along or they can alternate each day so a shortage of spending time with them is a non issue.

I have not chosen any of the 3 dogs and i am leaving it up to cheryl to make the final decision on which 1 of the 3 are best for me. I just know which i would pick if i had a choice. One of the things she stressed to me is try not to get hung up on colors.. Some dogs as we know are the most gorgeous eye pleasing dogs and at the same time can be a terrible fit for the household so you end up with a pretty dog that doesnt fit in or do what you want of it to do.

Good luck with your new addition. I am glad you are taking the time to get to know the breeder and allowing her to help you find a good fit./
