The Paws & Claws Fund is running out!

Vote for PAWS in the Chase Community Giving contest to win $20,000, $50,000, or more to replenish the Paws & Claws Fund for Low-Income Pet Owners. We'll use prize funds to provide free basic veterinary care and spay/neuter surgery to low-income pet owners who cannot otherwise afford or access it.

Our ability to help the most vulnerable pets is hanging in the balance. The Fund is currently depleted, forcing us to turn away pet owners who need our services but cannot pay. By providing badly needed free care, we're protecting at-risk pets from producing unwanted litters or losing their homes due to treatable health issues. The Paws & Claws Fund is 100% donor-funded and can only continue with the support of the community.

The area that our clinic is located in and the majority of the clients come from, has a population with approximately 25% of its population living below the poverty line. The funds we win would go to help providing these families (and other low-income owners) with vet care for their animals.

I keep trying to vote but can't from my stupid iPad. If I have time later to mess with my old, decrepit laptop, I will try from there.
