Default Please don't let it be him.....
I'm PRAYING this is not my Westie that I had to re-home due some very bad circumstances. I really and truly am.

Sweetest little guy. Special needs Westie. I rescued him from someone who neglected him badly and let him get a really horrible skin infection, I have worked really hard for the last 6 months to cure his skin and ears,,,with great success. His hair is growing back and he's a much happier little guy, he sleeps with us every night. Loves to play with toys and our other dogs. He has a misplaced growl and uses it when playing..but never gets aggressive. He likes to swim and go any place you go. Not clingy but does like to snuggle. He is purebred West Highland Terrier but does not have papers. He is already neutered. Not sure of his age we think he's about 3-4 yo. I have been using a unique blend of my own to cure his skin and ears. He is now ready for his forever home...I will be picky about who he goes to, he's too happy to be ruined by some careless person. Small rehoming fee of $150 just to help with the expenses of Vets and treatments. Thanks, Kim (706) 654-8026

Well it was the skin issues, the ear infections and the age. But I texted them and they said it wasn't him.

I would not just take their word on it, I would go and see for myself.

So would I. If it is him, are you able to take him back?

Nope, he was my mom's was rehomed for VERY personal reasons and I have no way of getting him back. I did, he'd have to live outside and I'd have to deal with him and my beagle trying to kill each other all over again.

I don't understand what the problem is. He wasn't taken care of (you and your family), put in a place where it sounds like he was rehabilitated (the CL ad people) and now they want to find a good home from him.

It sounds like he's on his way to big and better things-and deservedly so.

It's not that big of a deal and in a way if it was him it would be. Because when I handed over his leash fighting back tears, they promised me he'd never leave them EVER. But after staring at those pictures for hours, it's not him.
