I'm up in Kelowna! I was looking at a dog that I wanted to adopt from them but ended up getting one from a rescue here instead. And I voted for Lego 2 days in a row!

Hey guys,

So I realize that I haven't been on the forum for long, and I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, so if not, my apologies

I don't normally do these things, but after being bugged by several of my friends, I entered Lego - my three-legged pit bull, in the Fido Casting Call contest (for those that aren't familiar, Fido is a phone company here).. If she wins, we'll get to see her in a Fido ad in the near future, and I think that would be pretty darn cool if a pit bull won it this year She's already skyrocketed from 7000th place to 140th in only a couple days!

Theres been alot of bad press regarding these dogs in my area lately, and several.surrounding cities are considering implementing BSL. Theres even been some.question as to whether pit bulls should be allowed in the contest because "why would Fido.allow a 'dangerous dog' to represent them?" My boss - who works with a pit bull rescue, was interviewed twice in the last week alone on whether the breed should be banned (obviously she was the voice of reason), but its still a heated debate around here lately.

SO.. I'd like to prove them wrong, and give this breed.a bit of good publicity for once! Partial proceeds if she wins will go to my local pit bull rescue (Hugabull).. so its all for a great cause too!
