Hi, I've had several dogs over time the latest being a english bulldog/boxer mix, an energetic fellow and the biggest a rottweiler. I moved and I am looking at being an owner again and have found a 11 month old pit type, Staffordshire Bull Terrier? Anywho, would like some more educated opinions on what he is and what to expect. Was a very big softie that seemed ignored by its owners and possibly on the skinny side? I live in a city, have a fenced yard, (won't be off leash or off supervision at any point outside) no other dogs. I hear so many conflicting reports on the breed, I will give lots of time in exercise and training but don't want a danger to myself, or wife, or anyone in the neighborhood. This dog was brought up with kids, seemed really great to me. Here are some pictures, was hard to get a straight shot. Thanks!
