No. And the puppy you posted isn't a blue fawn, either. It's another liver dilute.

A blue fawn is a fawn dog, with diluted black pigment, turning it blue.

A blue fawn is exactly like that, only with dilute pigment...

I can understand your confusion, though... when I googled each colour, ALL sorts of dogs with their colours incorrectly labeled came up!
Hey that looks like my dog

Boy, you all impress the hell out of me with this stuff! Being totally serious too! I have no clue what your dog is or isn't and sorry for side tracking your thread. But I read these threads with colors and blood lines and it really impresses me! Btw, whatever your puppy is. He's cute! Lol

That is not how genetics work. A dog cannot be liver, and have blue because blue is a dilute of black. Do you have any close ups of her coat to show what you're talking about?
I can see if I have any clear ones but I'm not kidding on her coloring. The blue is so faint though it's hard for my little digital camera to catch onto it.

I won't argue the genetics, I know nothing about it! Lol, all I know is my dog is not fawn(not light enough coat color) and she isn't blue. So it has and forever will stump me.

Genetically, "fawn" can range from a light cream to a deep red

Edited - I got distracted by something else, and yall posted in the meantime! LOL

She looks like a dilute liver brindle. Some dilute livers have a purple-ish tinge to them (that often gets called lilac).. it looks like your girl is expressing that in her brindle

Hopefully FB won't screw up the quality even more... this was two or three days ago. She is dirty as hell so her color is kind of dull and it was a overcast day but you can see what i mean by the brindle (I hope).

Her clean, in good lighting and her color is richer with the blue stripes even less visible. like...

this. Day after a bath.

Hope you see what i mean from these Teal.

Huh. I always thought of fawn as sandpaper colored more or less. But I guess that does make sense.

Dilute liver brindle, I wouldn't have come up with that in a million years, it sounds a lot clearer than the way I was trying to explain it. Now I have to find something else to think about all day that confounds me

Thanks Teal

Saying "diluted liver" is being redundant. "Liver" is diluted brown.

Liver is NOT a dilute. Liver can BE diluted (Isabella), but it is not, in and of itself, a dilute.

This. Liver is the genetic term for "brown"

There ya go, DZ... Isabella brindle. Sounds sophisticated! You're welcome! haha

The first picture looks like what I have seen on breeders web pages a "reverse blue brindle".
