Default Naughty Pitties... What has your dog destroyed?
This is Garp's latest handiwork... I'm sure other people have worse photos/stories?

Since my dogs are older now they have not destroyed anything in years but I think the worst thing that ever got damanged is my antique ice box. Little bitch got out of her cage as a pup and chewed up the corner!!!

Since we havent had Tank all that long he hasent had much of a chance to mess up things. But I noticed the other day that the small rocking chair my grandfather made me when I was only a few years old now has chew marks on it. He is now never left alone in our bedroom!!!

Skylar has never (ever) chewed or destroyed anything. She just wasn't ever a chewer.
Diesel (on the other hand) loves to tear things up...just for fun. Little jerk. If we buy him a new bed...destroyed in a matter of minutes (in his crate). So we stopped buying beds and just use old comforters...which he has ripped to shreds and pulled all the stuffing out of (that was a fun mess).

Out in the yard he decided he hated the folding metal chair that was at the table. I can only assume the chair made fun of him for being a little on the small side. He took that chair into the yard and ripped off the back and bottom cushions. Tore those (and the cardboard backing) to shreds and continued to mangle the metal legs into oblivion. He showed that chair who was boss. This happened over a few days (I'm guessing) because it was in a corner of the yard I can't see from the door. So he'd go out there and "play" with this chair I guess for a couple hours a day. One day I went out to get a plastic tub he was destroying out of his mouth when I noticed the missing chair. I found this "chair carcass" in a sad heap of mess in the yard. He was so proud when I found his "master piece".

This jerk just can't have nothin nice...LoL!!

Diesel loves destroying stuff, his favorite is anything he can get stuffing out of, dog beds, pillows, comforter blankets. He's gotten some rocking chair legs, he shreds beer cans too, he's gotta get every drop out of then

Our rescue Axle, who we have had about 10 weeks now, is an extreme chewer. I have taught my kids that they better keep their toys up and away from anywhere the dog can reach or the 'death' of their toy is their fault. Axle has disemboweled many, many stuffed animals, (my kids have too many anyway - lol) chewed up plastic toys left out, and even the occasional plastic container that somehow found its way to the floor. Sure have to watch that guy. Thank goodness he doesn't go after things like doggy beds, clothes, blankets, or crates, just small plastic things and stuffed animals. He actually EATS the little plastic beads that they often stuff in the bum of the stuffed animals.

Luckily he does love dog chew toys like Kongs and plastc Nylabones so those help keep him busy and away from other things.

Not a Pit, but My old mutt, Digger NEVER grew out of that phase. She would steal Pillows, Dog beds, Stuffed Toys, You name it. It all wound up in shreds.

Ruger and Jolene will get into the garbage and shred stuffed toys if they aren't prevented.

Zealand is perfect. He didn't tear up stuffed toys as a young pup - though, he did chew the nose and part of an ear off his hedgehog. He's never touched anything that wasn't his!

And he's not a Pit Bull, but... There is a certain book that I have to keep under lock and key, because Bukra has turned 3 different copies of it into confetti. No other book. Just that book. No matter where I keep it... he finds it. And kills it. O.o

Just walked in from work today and found the heal of a pair of brand new shoes gone (yep, Faith can open doors and now her crate) Besides that, her new bed, multiple shoe inserts, a thermal tote bag, and my son's fire arms registration. She also has fun with toilet paper, I've had the hallway TP'd 3 times now.

Sara, (the dog in my avatar) and my DH shattered our glass front door playing last weekend. A couple of throw pillows have been shredded. Multiple x box controllers, a x box head set, a very expensive computer headset, and a stair bannister. Also multiple shoes. Thank goodness, the chewing has stopped as she gets older.

I came home from work today and Layla peeled the paint off the bottom half of the bathroom door. And she must not have liked the taste of it so I had slime and vomit covered paint chips all over the floor today. I'm just glad it wasn't the old lead paint.

Mila probably got ahold of just about everything in the house at one point or another during her puppy years. Haha. The worst ever was right after we adopted Shadow, our GSD mix. He fueled her chewing fire like nothing else. This was back when I was younger and lived with my dad. I came home from school one day and both the dogs came running up to me, happy as can be. Then they ran into the living room and back to me, as if they were desperately happy to show me something.

Well, they'd eaten the couch. It was turned over on its side and on the opposite side of the room from where it had started, the white stuffing in it COMPLETELY covering the floor. It was like snow. And there they were, super proud of what they'd done. I wish I'd taken pictures. I was too busy worrying about how to keep my dad from choking them to death. XD

My dad built Mila a cage after that. Haha. I wish I'd known more at the time. I could've saved a lot of precious items and death threats. Well, you live and learn. Haha. It's simply a miracle she and I made it through it. And she's the best damn dog I've ever known now. My old girl.

Boomer is not a big chewer but during the first couple of weeks after I brought him home (he was six months old) he shredded my floor pillows. I came home to fluff everywhere. For some reason he also love to shred my hardcover books. He would leave the paperbacks alone and pull the hardbacks out of the bookcase and go to town. He also ate a comic book I had to search long and hard to replace. I truly wanted to strangle him. He has totally grown out of it now. Thank God!

Mine somehow managed to rip up our entire hardwood flooring in our bedroom down to the concrete at only 4 months old bc we didn't think it would be bad to leave her out of her crate for an hour...we were so soooo wrong
