I am so glad Zoey will not destruct things out of her desire, within my house, when I do leave her unattended, for hours at times. When she was a pup however, she did chew my brand new lamp stand's wiring, my headphones, ate a chunk off of one of my blanket throws, attempted to eat a few dumbbells, chewed off the handle on an exercise band, chewed of the end of her previous leather collar and I believe that was all.

At present a pack of 4 share the house with us. Day and Night. One being the pit named Kojak. And before Kojak and his merry band we have had 4 others. Almost ashamed to say my dogs have never destroyed anything worth mentioning.... Think there's something wrong with them????

My personal favorites in the long list of crap my dogs have chewed up:

Ike (American Bulldog), as a pup, was sleeping with the hubby. Hubby was reading our "The Working American Bulldog" by Dave Putnam book. Special order hardcover. Hubby fell asleep. Ike woke up and chewed the corners and a tiny bit of the spine.

Rita (APBT) ate a couch cushion. Luckily, I was able to sew it and flip it over so the damage isn't seen.

Owen (Basset Hound) literally ate a flip flip. Cheap dollar store kind, so no big to replace. Luckily, he pooped it all out.

Renee (APBT) ate my glasses. Which were on a high shelf. That she got to by climbing on my desk chair, then onto my desk, then over to the entertainment center shelf next to my desk. I went around blind as a bat for 2 weeks until I got my new glasses.

She also ate a piece of the molding of the outside of my back door that I have to replace before winter to properly insulate and seal against drafts.

And she used to like taking the brand new gutter downspouts off the house and run around with it in her mouth as a toy until I took out the little pins that connect them to the rest of the gutters and inserted small screws in their place.

Walls, T.V's, remote controls for both television and gaming systems, hair brushes, VHS, DVD, carpet, rugs, coffee table, furniture, doors, cell phone chargers, collars, purses, wallets....

Probably more than that too, but that is in the last 15 years of dogs.
Oh yea Midnight ate my girls purse strap too! hahaha

When I was in high school we use to own a Rottweiler and I used to have these Oakley's that I paid a little over $200 for because I custom made them (color, lenses, etc.) and I left them on our pool table. Then the next morning when I was on my way to school I was looking for my glasses and thats when I found them.......

Bad dog!

They were ripped to shreds. lol

The only big thing for Harley was the plastic bottom of his crate and the carpet and padding below that (in about a 1ft by 3ft area... still have bare cement showing in our room from that) from when he used to have separation anxiety.
I still cant figure out how on earth a dog eats the tray from the crate! Someone else said the same thing. That totally amazes me!!

Well I made the mistake of leaving that day without putting her toys in her crate with her. I might have been in a hurry or something. If she has plenty of toys then she doesnt destroy anything. But that day she was like:

"Oh, this mother f***** doesnt want to give me my toys today huh? Well then, take this.... *rip* *cut* *smash* *rip* *cut* *smash* take that!! Destroyed my tray!! Now you gotta buy a new one!!"

She actually said that!

Our St. Bernard mix, DID chew threw the bottom of the door! Just like the pic that was posted.

Other items by different dogs,

Couple purses
Corners off an heirloom coffee table
Soccer ball, basketball, soft ball
corners off a comforters and blankets
Barbie dolls and baby dolls
A huge cube of cedar shavings, this just happened this week, all 3 took part, I imagine the shavings were fying around like confetti, and them dancing around like the Times Square New Years ball just dropped.

Dog I used to have tried to redecorate my house... Chewed up a couple doors and pulled up the carpet when left in a separate room. Bo has chewed up quite a few cords and Rodeo killed a couple pairs of shoes.

- Is playing with her phone at work.

Haha, I love the pictures some of you posted. Sadie and Kuruk never chewed up a thing besides their chewy and toys. Now when my shih tzu Gus was a puppy, he chewed all my brand new furniture, chairs, love seats, sofas, tables... anything he could reach and since he was so little, it was usually the legs of everything. Oh he was such a chewer, so glad he grew out of it.

Jack tears up his toys, but that is about it. None of my dogs chew stuff.

I've had Casper since a puppy, he has never chewed anything (unless you count other dogs). Ronon chewed the corner of one of my hardback books one time that I left on the bed. Riddick I had from 7 weeks until he died at 10 months and always heard Greyhound puppies were landsharks. But Riddick never chewed anything but his toys and bones. Now he was a collector. He took all my shit outside through the dog door. Especially if I wouldn't get up and play with him earlier enough. Usually my shoes and clothes out of the dirty clothes hamper, but he never tore them up.

Pongo 15 yrs ago chewed the heal off my Mother's high heel shoe, but he hasn't chewed anything since.
Rocky, Ripley, Circe have never chewed anything that I can think of. I leave stuff everywhere too. My shoes are in the floor, I leave my phone, kindle, books, etc laying on the coffee table or bed.

Now foster dogs are a whole nother story.

I have a whole in my couch cushion from Angel a pitbull boxer mix my roommate brought home from the shelter on her last day. She chewed all kinds of stuff. Ate every dog bed we owned! And chewed up all the waterhoses.

The Great Dane chewed shoes and ate the wood trim down the hallway and the corner of the wall.

Baby the deaf pit bull I fostered ate the kitchen flooring (vinyl sticky tiles, she ripped them up)

Dexter the Dogo destroyed dog crates, went through one of my windows to get a sheep my idiot neighbor had in his yard.

JD- bulldog/cur ate the couch- woke up Christmas to "snow". It was black suede couch with big fluffy pillows full of white fluff and it was everywhere and he was sitting in the middle with fluff hanging out of his mouth!
